I think fortunately, it's fantasy enough that non wrestling fans will also find it really entertaining. As a boardgame, to have on the shelf for when you have friends over, it also works brilliantly! £45 for a starter set, £25 for each team thereafter, and single superstars starting at £6... Really hard to not be excited by that!
I'm a massive fan of bloodbowl, one of the guys from my league was looking for a rumbleslam opponent so I looked it up, low and behold you have come to my rescue. Thanks for the vid you have a new sub x
Any tips for prepping the minis. I just ordered the same base set and even after a wash in dish soap and warm water the minis still arent taking primer properly, as if there is a film of stubborn wax on the surface.
Yeah mine were very stubborn too. I ended up giving them a toothbrushing with some warm soapy, and then a toothbrushing with some isopropyl alcohol. That got them ready to take primer. The paintability of the minis is something I will be taking up with TTC at some point though.
@@TesseractMinis okay, yeah that was kinda the direction i thought i might have to go. Tis rather frustrating to have to resort to using ipa to clean resin. Fingers crossed all goes well. And yes please do bring it up with them, game looks really cool but it seems rather counter intuitive to have a low barrier to entry on gameplay whilst providing the most difficult of standard model materials to potential new painters.
I see a lot of potential for this game but I feel like the character designs need some real work. I do like one character in particular who is essentially The Rock's Scorpion King but in the form of that sh*tty CG scorpion form from the end of second Mummy movie. It's really funny!
Rumbleslam is actually quite a fun little game. I've been playing it for a couple years now and got my nephews into as well.
I'm not a wrestling far but that small scale and cheap buy in is pretty attractive

@@TesseractMinis yeah it has that boardgame feel of here is everything in the box which is cool

Amazing! I really hope you like it as much as I do! There'll be plenty more content coming for it.
Didn't even know about that one.
Thank you for the recommendation 😁
Keep up the great work 🤘
It's definitely a sleeper and a game I'd like to see grow in popularity!
ive been enjoying your videos man! hope you are well! its nice to see such a dedicated perspective in to a miniature world
Looking at the model line and Undead Luchadores is something I may need to paint up
Pretty sure it's got a TTS mod too, so if you ever fancy a game to try it, I got you!
Love the colors you used for the human big guy. Would you mind telling me which paints/colors you used? Would love to try and replicate it!
I wish I could remember! It was most likely Reaper Shaonti Sienna and Vallejo Sunny Skintone for the skin.
Are they ever gonna make it available in the US? I can't find a starter set anywhere online.

Did you have problems getting the minis cleaned and primed???
Sometimes, yeah - whatever mold release they use at TTC, it is very hard to scrub off.
@@TesseractMinis 😭 I just started painting the starter box and it was TOUGH!!! Thanks for the reply.
Very wicked!
Game is seriously awesome!
Reminds me of ultimate muscle!
