Thank you for your work! I keep hearing "mysteries" of mass bird deaths...and I want to make a compilation video but curious now about bees and insects being impacted, they say the radiation level with new satellites will be increased in extreme amounts...
Hello Charles, I just found your channel and came over to show support. Im new to bee keeping and enjoy your videos. If you get a chance stop by Seeds and Arrows Frontier. God bless
Very odd. Looks like a abscond that had a little larvae left and the handful of bees tried to stick with it. Wax moths would have been all over it here. My bottom boxes are usually loaded with pollen also. Seems there is always a pollen source through the summer here.
Yes, absconded is the best description. Not one single hive beetle or moth. They had honey in the upper box, pollen. I just don't know. I am watching the other hive closely now......
Yes, provided they survive. I have real doubts about them doing well, I will do an update hopefully next week. If they abscond or die out, I will bring the boxes and comb to the farm and put it to use on my main good hives or splits there that might need help. Good luck with your bees! It is alot of fun and rewarding.

Did the hive make it into fall/winter??
We had some really warm days last week and the hive on the left is alive and some bees flying around. The hive on the right nothing.
Fellow Cincinnatian here keeping his first year of bees. You have some nice full frames of comb! Will you split that hive next year?

@@woodchucktinman9893 I think your city bees are very interesting. Would love to see more about their surroundings and available forage.
