I thought it was supposed to be an upscale restaurant. From what I see it doesn't look up scale to me. My opinion.
I did as well. I went, but got there too early and they weren’t ready for service. It’s in like a plaza with a Metro PCS store and a couple other business attached. Not quite what I was expecting. The inside though as she said was very nice. They forgot to lock the door so we did get to look inside before we were told that they were not open yet. They do have a menu outside, and I wasn’t too impressed. I’m just a huge Kandi fan abs want to support, but I went to OLG twice and in the most humblest way I was not impressed at all.
I went 2 months ago. So disappointed. It took over an hour to get the food. Service sucked. However, Nenes spot is bomb! I went 3 nights in a row.
Grade C and Upscale Doesn't work for me!!!! If you Upscale I would hope you to have Grade A!!
The seating looks very cheap, definitely doesn't match the prices on the menu.
They failed health inspection…. I’m glad you didn’t get food poisoning
Any place lot of places can fail an inspection. A broken bulb in the fridge can fail a restaurant.

The crab cake on that massive plate looks sad. Filling the space with curvy line of sauce makes it worse. Needs better presentation. Food otherwise looks good. Doesn't look high scale with cheap plates and chairs. Love you Kandi, but come on now.
Normally 5 star restaurants are more intimate. This looks like every other Chilis on TGIF.

The people in ATL, love Kandi and seem to support her. These are hard times and most places are closed or closing.
I love Kandi too, but she needs to keep good consistent food, and keep a good score with the health department. Best of luck to her. ❤️ Also, if it's a nicer restaurant, the decor doesn't quite match that nicer style.

I forgot to mention parking was a breeze, the restaurant is in a strip mall of suites, so plenty of parking.

I love Kandi so much, but the decor (tables, chairs, etc.) looks cheap. That's disappointing considering it's supposed to be a nicer restaurant. Best of luck to her.

As someone in MD that crab cake looked horrible!!!!! I have never ever ever ever seen a burnt bottom crab cake.
I would honestly try the food if I ever find myself in Atl. I want Kandi to do well at whatever she tries. Now, from where you were sitting, the decor and furniture looks awful tho. I need to look for pictures for a better understanding.

What are the plates made out of? Sound plasticky?? I like the video...sound not all that great but I like that you put the description of the order and the prices.
1st the restaurant was Graded C, interior looks like a Cafe. Grade C and Upscale seems far fetched! I think I'll wait until they get a better Grade before I visit. My Mom has always said you cant cook in a Nasty kitchen!!!
All of the places in Atlanta are overpriced, lack quality and service because of shear greed.

The layout of that restaurant is ugly. Those chairs look cheap and there should be booths to sit in. The windows should be tinted for privacy or at least have some kind of design on them. Also it was hard hearing your friend's review over the loud music.

I have to admit I was surprised at a few ratings where they seemed to enjoy the food but gave mediocre ratings. The lady in braids ate and enjoyed her food (except potatoes) and her ratings reflected. Why was music turned up as she spoke? She was the main one I wanted to hear. Annoying.
