Fuck I was grappling with 354 even before he used his lifelines, and I might have actually gone for it in his position. because I thought 365 would be too obvious for a million dollar question, since that's the amount of days on the Gregorian and Julian calendars. I figured it wouldn't be 400 either since it just seems like too much of a "milestone" number, or something the writers would throw in. My other line of thinking was that 365 was the median and mean between 354 and 376, and that perhaps it's one of those numbers. And then, since 376 had the lowest amount of audience votes, that likely would have led me to rule that out too. But I remembered something similar happened with Steve Perry's run, and the choice with the least amount of votes ended up being the right answer... so honestly I probably would have walked too, and I certainly don't blame Moe for making the decision to walk. But damn it, I would have wished that I trusted my instincts better.
Unless you knew the Islamic calendar is a lunar calendar which is shorter than a Western solar calendar - then 354 would be the only possible answer and this would become the easiest 1mil dollar question ever asked
It doesn't matter they're all lost anyway without faith in Jesus Christ as God and Savior. In Islam you have to be willing to die for your god, in the true religion of Christianity God died for my sins. In Christianity we serve one God with three manifestations to the believer God the Father God the son and God the Holy Spirit and these three are one...(1 John 5:7). Oh yes to repent and to receive the true biblical Jesus as God and Savior Is the only way to heaven and they only life worth living for faithful assurance to heaven.
The way I think of it is that I know for sure in Islam, the holy month of Ramadan starts somewhere around ten days earlier than the previous year (April 23 in 2020 and April 12 in 2021). So if it starts around ten days earlier each year, then that means there has to be 10 days less. But I definitely understand that it would be tough if someone didn’t know too much about world religions
Am I the only one that was hoping when he called his son he was going to say "Son, I don't really need your help. I just wanted to let you know im going to win the million dollars because the a non islamic leap year is C. 354 and thats my final answer."
He shoulda got the million dollar question. he should have known people who didn't know were picking 365 "cause that's how i grew up on it" so the A would clearly be unnaturally high. These kind of things are important to know when you ask them anything. Which means the next highest answer is likely the people who knew the real answer.
I would have got the million dollar question but only because I know Ramadan moves back a bit every year, thus the year must be shorter than 365 days. Since there's only one number there less than 365, it had to be 354.
For the million dollar question I initially thought it was C because I thought Ramadan was not part of the calendar, so the only choice that was below 365 was right. I had the right answer, but for the wrong reason.
Omg, this is probably the easiest 1mil dollar question I have ever seen, being about a major detail of a major religion: the Islamic calendar is lunar and based on the moon cycles, which are always 28/29 days. A lunar calendar would always be shorter than our solar calendar, meaning 354, the only number lower than 365, was the only possible right answer. If that doesn't give it away, the fact Ramadan is always around 10ish days early each year would have.
@Wubba Wubba the main reason they voted 365 was because of their own system. which was a stupid way to answer the question, if it's a million dollar question, clearly there's a trick to it. 365 would be too easy.
@@TheUltimateRare Or maybe the trick is that you might think it's too easy and that's why it's the right answer. I definitely see where you're coming from but if you sit there playing for 32.000 or 1.000.000 while having secured 500 you probably wouldn't go for it either if you weren't at least 80% sure.
@@TheUltimateRare That is obvious, because he would've been thinking more of the Gregorian calendar we are in, consisting of 365 days with no leap days.
I highly doubt the audience knew the exact number of days: what they most likely knew is that the Islamic calendar is a lunar calendar, which is shorter than a Western solar calendar of 365 days, which means 354 was the only possible answer
FortNikitaBullion you’re assuming the Islamic calendar aligns with the 365 calendar which isn’t true. The Islamic calendar may well have been 401 days and 400 non leap year.
Fact: the Islamic calender aligns with the phases of the moon over twelve months. The new crescent moon appears every 29.53 days, so 354 and some change is what 12 times 29.53 is, hence the rounded down 354
@@BRNRDNCK They voted high on A only because people were use to their own system. so they went for it. with this logic. it's easy to see the next highest Answer HAS TO BE the correct answer. reading the mood is important.

yeah, 365 was far too obvious for a million dollar question.
You would still have to be insane to go for it on that little audience share though.
I imagine more than a few people voting 365 were throwing away their vote. "He'll never think it's 365, so I'll go there and not skew the vote."
The problem with that thinking is that Moe himself thought it was 365.
