Very nice hike.. and gorgeous views of the valleys and waterfall. I don't know why but my eyes keep wanting to read "Fiery Lizzard Tail". I can't explain it. lol.
Very nice…. Glad they added that aluminum bridge. That & the Chimney sign is new from the last time I was there in the Spring. The videos just cannot do it all justice. Such an awesome place to hike! -JBH
Very cool trail. I went after a huge cold front swept the country in Dec. 2022 so all the waterfalls still had ice all around them even though the day of the hike was 60°.
Just subbed your channel after seeing you over on Tom, Following Walkers World's channel. Love supporting other fellow RUclipss and vloggers out there whenever I can. Looking forward to following along with your channel and watching more videos. ~RVA~
The man hours, resources and effort to make the trail was Herculean. On average a 1 to 2 miles an hour pace to enjoy the hike would be wise. Lots of people under estimate the time it takes to complete it. Well done nice nice representation of the trail.
Much more water for y'all then when I was there in 2019. It's a pretty cool area though, huh? I've not done the whole trail, but have been to the falls at the beginning of your vid. Raven's point had some fabulous views. Gonna have to check it out one day! That hike under and around the waterfall was really cool! Enjoyed watching that. You guys had a great outing! enjoyed watching it all. Was good seeing Foster with water too :-)
Great filming, awesome trail, my favorite in the South Cumberland system. I hate it for your viewers that you skipped the 3 miles through the gorge at the beginning. If you are doing it point-to-point, Grundy Forest to Foster Falls, you technically didn't complete the Fiery Gizzard Trail. Dog Hole is its own separate trail. Yes, the hike through the gorge and the climb out to the junction at Raven Point is very strenuous, but the scenery is breathtaking. For me, it is the highlight of the trail.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video and the trail! It's always nice to hear positive feedback and know that I'm capturing the beauty of these trails. I'll definitely keep your suggestions in mind for future hikes. Thanks for watching!
You would have to be moving awful fast. It gets pretty treacherous in parts. I would not personally want to try it, but I am sure it is doable by some... Thanks for watching!
What beautiful country.
It was indeed!

😂 it was an amazing trail. Impossible to see on video. Will do it again someday for sure!

Foster falls is amazing. I’ve climbed out there

that hike was stunning. the Falls looked amazing but yeah rocky to come down
Yea...LOL, that whole area of Tenn is well...very rocky ;) The waterfalls and views are worth every rock and boulder along the way though for sure!

Have yet to do that trail. I’ve heard it beautiful but tough. Good job. 👍

Planning on taking the same exact route. Do you think this could be completed as a day hike if we embark at 8am?
