Speaking of Pudge and his arcana, with recent change you can now have the model and effects of arcana separated from the piece that gave them earlier so now you can have this new pudge set equipped and all the arcana stuff too
There was so much good skins for Marci, like little red riding hood, or the one where she has armor and big flag behind her back, and yet Valve chosen the most boring one.
@@wilsonsticks mhm, thats interesting, ive seen a few creators post on twitter when their sets get in and they say “thx to valve for the effects” maybe its on a case by case scenario.
Valve are very strict about it, artist are not alowed to create particle effects for sets, Valve do it themselvs always, effects that you can see in the workshop are only for workshop, when set is picked by Valve they are removed and replaced by what Valve does.
can we stop with the marci sets? they are getting boring and a waste of a slot. a nice visage cache would be great. an io skin? maybe an Od cache? cmon valveee...
@@yaccothetaco720 It's not up to Valve if those skins make it in. If we want the influx of Marci skins to stop, we gotta vote them out next time cache rolls around
@@crusaderdino2739 Yeah unfortunately a lot of outstanding skins didn't make it in favor of skins for popular/attractive characters. QoP and Luna's skins set a very dangerous precedent for future caches imo

I always thought valve themselves added the visual effects / other fixes to the sets. Or do they just direct the workshop artist to make them?
The sets always have their particle effects/animations with them from the creators, but they don't show up during the voting phase.

Perhaps yeah. I browse the workshop every now and then and a lot of them have their own effects in there.
