As an ENTJ, I acknowledge that I can be self-centered at times. You mentioned it, and I believe it’s closely tied to maturity. With greater self-awareness, I’ve become much more considerate of others, to the point where I’m starting to value others more than myself-partly due to my growth as a leader. Additionally, as a husband who deeply values loyalty, I’ve developed a strong sense of devotion to my wife. I now find myself doing things for her that I wouldn’t normally do for anyone else, including myself, driven by that loyalty and respect for what she values.

I do think us INFPs can get self centered in our own right. Most types probably have the potential for it. Introverted feeling can be really sweet, accepting, kind and considerate, but it’s also often a case of putting my feelings above those of others. Perhaps I subconsciously allow myself to do that at times because I know I’m much in touch with my emotions than most, but that doesn’t give me the right to deem my own emotions more valuable than those of others, just because I may be more in touch with them.

As ENTJ being in relationship with a INFP for 2 years we are like fire. Best match hands down the only thing I struggle with my relationship is that she can be very distant and bad at communicating often im very open and transparent and a extra sensitive radar to her. That is because she is often in her own world which is fine but i wish we could grow together. Often can feel like i need to initiate a lot of stuff we can do together.
She really wants to be strong and independent and unique and i don’t like it. Purely because her way is not the way to do it’s harming herself and our relationship.
I can’t say i am self centred atleast thats what i fear most.
But thats really it she is amazing and can’t live without her.

@@Isa-vl6qr because it is not strong and independent it brings herself in awful situations and not communicating and self destructive behaviour

@@OnlyPureSoundsAs an INFP, I can relate to wanting to be strong, independent and unique. But, being honest with myself, I’m not as independent as I’d want to be. Yet, at least… I only just turned 19. But I’ll probably always be reliant on a support system to some capacity. I simply have always struggled with Te things a lot and I understand why you don’t really want her to be independent in that regard. You’d be leaving her alone to try and navigate around a clear weak point of hers (which is a strong suit of yours). Us INFPs just aren’t naturally strong and independent when it comes to planning, assertiveness, grit, etcetera. But we of course are strong and independent in other respects. And it’s important to let us thrive in those areas. But being a logical voice that can counter genuinely bad ideas is still an occasional necessity.
The not liking her wanting to be _unique_ does not really sit well with me, from this mere outside perspective I have. Being unique and authentic is probably the big numero uno high priority value for us INFPs. Even if we may think we’re more unique than we may factually be. Any situation in which I haven’t felt safe to be authentic (or at least try to be) has not been a healthy one for me. It’s draining. Demoralising. Self destructive. I understand an ENTJ such as yourself may want to put certain systems in place to get the most out of your partner and your relationship. I understand it is meant as a loving gesture. But uniqueness and authenticity are, in my experience at least, not compromises INFPs can make. Not without destructive effects. So I hope you aren’t making such compromises. But judging from the rest of your comment, you probably aren’t. I did kind of feel obligated give this warning of sorts that I think you’ll probably not really need. It’s okay still want certain relationship improvements, regardless of the strong and loving bond the two of you seem to have. I think us INFPs and you ENTJs can both have high relationship standards. I just want to know if someone suits me before I consider them a part of my inner circle. No MBTI (or real life, person to person) matchup is ever going to be perfect. And that’s okay. And yet it’s also important to keep striving for a perfect matchup.

i loved your video about ENTJS! I think when they care about you they are very caring and practically helpful, they are really protective people. So yours was kind of an immature one.. I really liked you say that INFP is their mentor, we lead them too in a way lol🤭❣ thanks, keep doing videos

My thoughts exactly. She is the least INFP-ish INFP Ive ever experienced. And then the money videos... Usually moneymaking is one of INFP's necessary evils, unless they are working from their creative, raw, talent.
