Fun fact: Kun produced "Rain Day" with his friend Junny who is Korean-Canadian, which is probably one reason why this song is in English. English was probably a more natural language to work in. Plus, because 2 out of the 3 members of are WayV members -- Taeil is the only Korean member in this song -- and they are releasing music in Korea and promoting in Korea, not specifically in China, it makes it so SM is more likely to produce the song in English. Hence, why the majority of WayV's songs lately are English songs because they aren't promoting as a group in China right now. I think it helps SM avoid any crossover issues with Korea that might make it more difficult for them to promote in China, if and when they eventually get back to their Chinese roots as a group.

If you are enjoying Kun's and Xiaojun's voices you should check out the collaboration song they did with Zhoumi, one of the Chinese members of Super Junior, called "I'll Be There." Zhoumi wrote the song and asked Kun and Xiaojun to feature on the song.
I love Taeyong’s dance so much. Unlike other members learning to dance since they was a kid/middle school, TY learn to dance at 17/18 yrs old. It harder to learn dance at that age bcs our body has grown so much and it gonna get stiff. However, he work so hard to be where he is now.
I will forever be worried about Taeyong and his back! Though I appreciate and enjoy the hard to do and creative choreography, herniated discs are important not to aggravate, because they might slip again. Yet he is out here bending his body in all directions.

I would LOVE for you guys to check out more of Taeyong's songs that he wrote and more of his freestyles! Taeyong is a true artist and "Ghost" is a true work of art! Please check out his "Lonely" performance video, his SoundCloud songs (Blue, GTA 1 and 2, Monroe, Rose, Dark Clouds, and Swimming Pool). Also, he has many freestyle dances! My personal favorite is probably "Paris in the Rain." Thanks!

Shotaro was not scouted on TikTok lmao he started his TikTok after he was already a trainee, he's actually been dancing since he was 5 and SM noticed him back in 2019
But most of his tik toks were in japan .... and he became a trainee in 2020 when he moved to korea
sm has a policy of not letting their trainees have social medias, so no, he didnt start his tiktok after becoming a trainee and he became a trainee in 2020 almost right before he debuted
Shotaro was a professional Dancer, he only was a Trainee for a few Months before debut.

The quality of the production and performance of Ghost is excellent; really fantastic artistry. Love the dark, sensual, defiant, and haunting vibe. Yes, Ghost was choreographed by Bada Lee. (They work together quite a bit. Taeyong and Bada co-choreographed Zoo together.) I hope to hear the full song on Spotify someday because the soundscape is so good.
