@@handsoffmycactus2958 the thing is called mochi! It's like me calling chips "McCains". You don't identify the food by the brand, there are many brands who make mochi but seems like people unfamiliar with Japanese culture call them little moons. Sigh
@@realest_ while I do agree, there are plenty of things you do just call the brand. Celotape, cling film, hoover etc. If it's the first brand name you've come across and it's huge, it'll catch on.

Some are called by their name and some by their brand name like Cadbury’s but you don’t call it a chocolate bar you say e.g. Crunchie or Galaxy etc. Precisely. I’m sorry that people aren’t calling little moons, mochi but it’s their brand and plenty of people call certain items by their brand.

@@sophiajohnson5797 wrong example. Mochi is our cultural dish, you cannot compare it to identifying different chocolate bars by brand because frankly a crunchie isn't anywhere the same as a mars bars. Mochi is a DISH.

My first job was at McDonald's. I worked there from 16 to 19 years old. Also, I'm from the States.
First off, I have to tell you, don't go to McDonald's for chicken. I know it's good but McDonald's is a hamburger restaurant. You can't do a proper McDonald's review without getting a Big Mac, fries and a Coke!

We’re 5 years into house renovations we had the utility room and downstairs toilet ripped out two weeks ago and now we’re waiting for someone to come do the floor which might be weeks, I completely get the frustration of the house not feeling right and just wanting it done all I can say is it’ll be worth it when you eventually get your house how you want it
