I don’t know where to even begin with this video lol... so many things are off about these laundry techniques haha.
First, you just overstuffed the washer which is not the best idea, especially with a small machine like that. you could potentially clog up the drum and risk your clothes not being cleaned fully.
Stating that the laundry is technically not an extra cost, it’s okay to do smaller loads of clothes that are alike. (Colors, darks, whites, etc.)
Then there’s the amount of white clothes mixed in with clothes of different colors. Colors bleed during the wash cycle, especially darker colors.
Getting run off dye in contact with white clothes leads to wacky colored shirts and socks. Whites should always be done as an entire separate load. Although, doing a cold wash lowers the risk of that happening.
Also, the pods were specifically designed to go right inside the drum itself, rather than the compartment where detergent would normally go.
I get you don’t wanna waste time doing laundry, but stuffing the machine and hoping for the best isn’t effective lol.

Brook Lopez tbh if they take your stuff, they have cameras I believe. But no one will take your stuff here at stony brook, unless you have something really desirable lol

You should look into the Eco Egg. It’s hundreds of loads of laundry washing detergent for a fraction of the cost of traditional powder or pods. It’s also a lot better for the environment and not as harsh on clothing. 👍🏼

You do realise you throw the pods in the drum they don’t go in the drawer
You just throw one in before you load the laundry in :)

the crazy thing is that it was about 2 minutes....... literally 2 minutes.
Zach. Why would you put the detergent pod in the detergent drawer? That can cause the the detergent drawer to clog it. And you were supposed to put the pod in the washer.

Zachary Chin I use it mainly to check to see if there are any washers/dryers available. Imagine hauling your laundry down to the basement only to find out they're all full

Aaliyah Marongwe I see what you mean. And no you’re not allowed to. But you can bring chairs.... if that makes sense lol. Because when they do RA room checks that’ll be considered a “fire hazard”

Nah nah, if you do it on like sat or Sunday after noon around 11am- 5pm it’ll probably be full but any other times in my opinion it should be fine. Was never an issue for me

Lata Cruz I actually don’t know because I came in as a transfer student. But as a transfer I had a 3.7 overall gpa.
