I made this. The use of simple curry powder and frying powder makes the dish less intimidating and less time consuming for beginner. While I prefer using salt to soften and season the chicken (instead of milk), I really value the techniques and tips to make perfect crispy chicken here. My fried chicken indeed is crispy without being greasy! I'd like to apply what I learned here whenever I want to fry :) Also there is always leftover of frying powder which can be easily stored in freezer until you need it.
It's three parts all purpose flour and one parts corn starch, salt , white pepper, garlic and baki g soda. Some do have MSG but you can purchase it online or at an Asian markt.
But what do they mean by curry powder!?...curry is a broad word. There are like 100s of varieties of curries. Are they talkin about those japanese curry?

In India same like that, we use curd or yoghurt instead of milk and use turmeric powder..
