I wasn’t aware of this sidewalk sale. It’s too bad Tony didn’t cancel and reschedule for a nicer day. Saturday was a day of HEAVY rain, flooding, and road closures throughout NJ. The inventory of new and old stock at Trains N Things is impressive! The Lionel dealer framed poster is cool and will look sharp in your train room. Thanks for sharing your video with us!
I am from Indiana hobby shops and train stores are distant memory. And the train shows in this area are OK but not top shelf. if it was possible, I would shake your hand for your videos. I find it hard to watch other videos because of their disorganization and a little information given so I thank you for taking the time filming and editing so I can enjoy the subject matter. Being electric, trains
@@MichaelMartinczak Thanks for the nice comments. I try to shoot train show videos and store tour videos in a way as if you were there in my place. My motto is "It's almost like being there. Alot of other channels leave out information or scan too fast. I try to also include interviews as well if I can find willing vendors lol. I make every effort to produce the video in a way that makes you feel like you attended the show yourself.
I love going to Trains & Things, always see something new and we’re there almost every week. It was great meeting you yesterday, really enjoy your channel!
great video, I was just there and missed half of what you show here lol. It did make me go back this weekend and take home that brass Camden and Amboy John Bull. After a few runs around the layout it now resides on my mantle....nicely done video, I agree it helps customers and vendors and Tony does have the goodies!!
Wow what a great story. I have people who told me that they watch my videos of the same event they attended just in case they missed something. I hope you let Tony know that you went back to the store because of my video. The videos help the hobby shops with sales but also puts trains into the hands of model train enthusiasts.
It was great seeing and talking with you Shawn. Thanks for the mention and thanks for the information about using Legacy. The sale was good. The owners of the store are nice and I had a good time. I think I left my coffee cup there 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Hi Corey, we didn’t introduce ourselves but my wife and I saw you there excitedly taking everything in. Just subscribed to your channel and looking forward to seeing what ya got. Take care
It was great talking to you as well. The shows are so busy I don't usually get much time to chat. The store sale was much more laid back so I had time to hang out and chat with people.
Shawn I was watching the "Three Rails, Four Dads" podcast Friday night and when they mentioned the Trains n' Things sidewalk sale on Saturday I just knew you'd be there, and you didn't disappoint! I didn't see anything on the video I couldn't live without BUT I saw some things I certainly would have left with! That's some shop, like a train show under one roof! We got the deluge the middle of the night before it moved up the coast so thanks for braving that miserable rainy day for us!
@@Dakman This last one was the first one I've caught, I've missed the others myself. It was fun! Normally I don't bother with multi-person podcasts, they tend to be a bit chaotic but this one was well-done.

You are welcome. Even though it was a rainy day many of us went anyway and had fun

I deal with this store all the time. Tony is #1!! Love his layout in the store.
Great filming in the shop Shawn....much appreciated.
Thanks 👍
Great coverage of what they have to offer Shawn! Good stuff!
Thanks for watching!
It’s always a good day when Dakman drops one of these!
Thanks much
Lots of neat stuff!
Their inventory changes weekly

Thanks and it was great meeting you as well
I live in Northern NJ. I visited this store once when I picked you up a pre order. I wish it was closer to home, I would visit more often.
Shawn, great video that is surely a nice shop they have a lot of different things there. Hopefully I can get up there one day.
It's definitely worth the stop. Let Tony know that you saw the store on a Dakman Productions video

Lots of great stuff, some of it was priced right.
I think so too!

Hey Shawn, I'm from the coastal part of Nj, I would have went had I known. I didn't see any advertising for this sale beforehand.
The sales are done through e-mails. You can sign up for the sale emails
Tony doesn't do emails, just call him with your snail mail address, he will send you card with the next event/sale. cheers@@Dakman

Glad you enjoyed the video. I always seem to miss the 3 rails 4 dad's live show.

Great video!!! Lots of goodies 😊
Thank you!! 😊
Thanks for another store tour!
You are welcome
Great video!
Thanks!
Like the poster Shawn.
Thanks
Very nice to see the items in stock but the pricing is too blurry to make out in all but the very large markings.😊
Looks like an awesome place Shawn. Buy anything there?
Not this time around
It’s probably a good thing I don’t live in an area where there are hobby shops and train shows, I would be broke! Lol!
This hobby shop does ship to you
I am so jealous.
