Quartz Mountain is located in Greer County in southwest Oklahoma. It is the namesake of Quartz Mountain Nature Park and its eastern flank is enclosed by the park boundaries. It is near the cities of Mangum, Oklahoma and Altus, Oklahoma.

Wow the lake is down quite a bit it looks like. I was a kid in the early 70s and spent many a weekend camping there with my family. Thanks for the video!

Man, I know I've enjoyed the Wichita Mountains over the years..but THIS place looks similar and less crowded! I LOVE finding new spots like this to photograph!
