- I've made a Legacy challenge!!
We start off with Emily and Frank, twins out on thier own.
Here's the rules so far;
Start in Willow Creek! - You’re going to build the family mansion here.
When each generation completes (or when you’re ready to start the next one) The Heir (or all the family, other than the next heir) must move back to the Willow Creak House.
Each generation can renovate the main house, or build it up however they want!
Every special item collected (through jobs or gathering) through each generation must be kept in the main house, like a museum. Try to collect everything!
You must make money only from what was introduced in the pack. Hobbies can only be from the pack. (Game packs can also be used!) You must live in the new World and achieve the new skills.
You can choose to only use base game and that expansion pack, but I won’t ask you to
Each generation moves out and starts with nothing!
If something pops up (their likes etc) you MUST say yes! Even if it hurts
Generation 1 - Get To Work
Start with 2 Sims (siblings) - rags to riches style! On the biggest plot in Willow Creek
One joins an active career (doctor, scientist, detective) Must reach the top of the career
The other starts a retail business (in Magnolia Promenade) Must gain 5 stars for the shop
You will mainly live in Magnolia Promenade (above and around the shop)
Hobbies - one likes baking, the other likes photography
MUST DO!
Build a rocket ship and go to Sixam
Have an alien baby!
Max both above skills - baking and photography
Finish one collection of your choice
EXTRAS FROM GAME PACKS
Camping and herbalism - max out the herbalism skill and go camping lots!
Once achieved, move back to Willow Creek, and build the first version of the family home!
Generation 2 - Get Together
Pick you heir and move out with nothing! Must live in Windenburg
You can only make money from clubs you run :S
Run at least 3 clubs at once, spend time with them each once a week!
Hobbies - DJing and Dancing!
MUST DO!
max out both skills
Get clubs to max stars??
Finish one collection of your choice
EXTRAS FROM GAME PACKS
Spar and wellness
I’ll leave it to you as to how you use these (clubs, anyone??)
When you have achieved the above, you must move back to the main house in Willow Creek, along with any special things you’ve collected.
Generation 3 - City Living
Pick you heir and move out with nothing! You must live in San Myshuno in an apartment (any you like!)
Can only do one of the new careers - politician, critic, social networking
Hobbies - singing
MUST DO!
Reach level 10 of your career
Max out the singing skill
Go to every festival (Every. Single. Time.)
Learn every new city recipe from the food carts
Collect all posters and snow globes!
When you have achieved the above, you must move back to the main house in Willow Creek, along with any special things you’ve collected.

Poor Sam. I hear that most cruises end up with illness on board. I will never go on a cruise because it isn't worth it.

I am also doing my own version pack legacy. disable all of the packs. Start with base game.

I believe geodes was the collection that came with get to work. Im doing my own verion of a pack legacy as well, starting base game and all packs disabled, so exhiting to watch your version along!
Ah and for outdoor retreat the insects collection and for the holiday pack the holiday cracker plushies collection!

Duckworth isn't a bad surname. I have been doing my own genealogy since 2005 and have a couple of ancestral branches with wretched surnames, and back then a son/grandson etc ends up with it as a first name.... Grr. A few branches of my family did that alot in the 16, 17 and 1800s. (Example) So Dorothea Duckworth marries Mason Dixon, and name thier sons Mason Dixon junior (after dad) and Duckworth Dixon and daughters Dorothea, Darlene and Deanna Dixon. Mason Dixon junior marries Margaret Maloney (mom, Georgette Gobbler and dad Gary Maloney) sons: Mason Dixon3, Maloney Dixon (moms maiden name), Duckworth Dixon (paternal grannys surname), and Gobbler Dixon (maternal grannys surname) daughters: Margaret (after mom) Dixon, Dorothea Dixon (after dads mom), Georgette Dixon (after moms mom). And you just keep getting names for kids following that pattern until a couple has no more kids, so you could end up with a daughter with the same first name as great-great-great granny Gertrude Fife, or a son with the surname Fife as his first name....
Poor Sam, I'm so glad you are back safe! I don't think you need to restrict your game, stuff or kit packs. Just go for it! 😄
Then go for it I will! I don’t think there’s a point of doing a challenge if you don’t enjoy it.
Charisma isn't needed for the selling table, but the higher it is, the quicker you sell stuff, at higher mark-ups, sales pitches work better etc.
I always play games rags to riches style. I also never sell stuff from my inventory unless there is no other way to get rid of it. My sims also garden alot at first and buy stuff from the stalls when they xam. I always play off the grid too. This challenge seems iike alot of fun to watch.
Davon Guzman, the surname is pronounced Gooz-mon, it is Latinate so Iberian and Latin American name.
I love this idea, I've been directionless when it comes to the sims and I wanted to challenge myself using more of all these packs I've bought as well lol. I'll likely try this challenge with a few tweaks to get back into it thanks so much I'm going to binge all your videos as well

That's a lot of rules (alien baby?). I can't wait to see how this all plays out.
I did, but this is the first time the actual shop made me sick. I’ll still be going on another one though. And yes, alien baby!!

Poor Sam! You have my sympathy, I had a 'both ends' situation on my 30th bday, in my own bed :(. I think you should use the stuff packs and kits however you like, to keep it interesting for you. I feel like Frank is really a Francis but he wants people to call him Frank now, because its 'cooler' , and Emily calls him Franny sometimes and it makes him mad lol. PS Are you going to do the associated Aspirations too?
I now cannot see Frank without thinking Francis!! He does seem to want to be cool, but he’s just too into clay. He really loves his piece of clay.
