Yes, you can connect the Soloist to any source with an analog output - so a DAC, digital audio player, or even directly out of a tablet or computer with the right cables.
Hi, Is it possible to drive klipsch Cornwall iv (8ohms /102 db/w) speakers with soloist 3x balanced headphone out (8w/16 ohms). If we have the necessary cables.
How does the sound of this stack compare to the Conductor 3XP? I'm really interested in the Soloist, but the Conductor with the built in DAC and streamer seems like a great value.
Hey, so in terms of overall value, you're right, the Conductor 3/3X Performance is hard to beat. There's not a huge difference between running the Composer + Soloist vs. just the Conductor, but there is noticeably more detail, and better instrument separation with the Composer + Soloist. Soloist is putting out more power too. It also depends on what is more convenient for you: standalone pieces that can be swapped out individually to tweak your sound, or an all-in-one unit that does it all.
@@BloomAudio Cool, thanks for the reply! I guess I'm just finding it hard to justify essentially double the cost for similar performance to the all-in-one Conductor. The law of diminishing returns I guess. If I were swapping out components on a more regular basis, it might be worth it to me to buy the Soloist + Composer.
The soloist 3xp or the schiit ragnarok 2? I need to connect to powered speakers via xlr balanced cables, and a subwoofer via rca cables. I'm going to connect the amp to a schiit bifrost 2 dac via xlr balanced cables. I'm also using dan clark audio aeon 2 headphones via xlr cable. I'm trying to replace my schiit jotunheim (original, not the 2) amp. Any input would be appreciated.
Hey, so the Soloist only has XLR output for the preamp (it has both XLR and RCA inputs though...), so if you needed to run XLR and RCA output concurrently, you wouldn't be able to do that with the Soloist.
Thanks for this review, I was literally just looking for a review specifically on this stack.
I got this amp and I LOVE IT. It's the only amp that I've found that can run the hifiman He6Se V2 properly
What cables do you have connected from your laptop to the burson?

I do recommend the burson conductor 3x performance with a questyle CMA 12 master . This Combo is Overkill but 🔥🔥🔥👌 you can almost hear god
just bought the Dac composer 3XP and the soloist 3XP in Bloomaudio, do you have a review where they explain the installation of these two.?
I can only use the amplifier, without the DAC ?

@@BloomAudio Thank you for the reply, I appreciate it. Do you have any suggestions on any amps that would work in my situation?
No comparisons..
