I'm using an Optiplex 3020 micro with an i5 4590T and 8gb ram. I do play ps2 and the games seem to run fine although I have had to put on frameskip on God of War and the other hacks. I have noticed that the temp goes up but the highest I've seen is 63 and I've read that CPU's can run up to 65 degrees. That said, I only normally play around 20-25 minutes at most. The days when i used to spend hours gaming have gone for me. I'm really surprised with this little machine I also got Shadow of the Colossus to run on it. I do also play Panzer Dragoon on the Xbox on this machine but there's quite a lot of slow down, anyway I do enjoy it and i got the PC cheap.

Awesome! Yeah settings adjustments in ps2 are a must but other than those minor adjustments it doesn't take much adjusting

I started with a ryzen 2200g apu and ended up upgrading by getting a gpu. All the games, up to wii u run well with the apu but if u want to start upscaling the graphics then a dedicated gpu is better.

With this PC could I run my pinball table off it also with batocera? I want to be able to play new system games like Xbox, PS2. Etc…..

Do you mean you want to get the pinball portion working in Batocera as well or do you mean you want to add a pinball designated SSD to the PC and then be able to have two different boot options from the PC? That would certainly work. I don't know about pinball in Batocera. I've never looked into anything like that before. Just wasn't sure exactly what you meant here.

@@RetroGamingGuy The system would have to boot up in Batocera? I want to use the computer to run pinup poppet which is a front end for virtual pinball tables. Then I want to be able to buy new pc games and run them also.

@@burg3801 you could do that. You have the option to have separate hard drives or SSDs installed on one PC. Like mine for example I have an SSD with Batocera so I can play all my retro games from NES through PS3 which is the default SSD that my computers boots up to when ai power it on but I also have a windows 10 Hard drive installed in my PC which I can boot to by just altering the boot order on the PC. It's as simple as hitting F1 when I first power my PC on and switching over to the windows 10 hard drive. It takes only 10 seconds to make the change. You could do the same thing but instead of windows 10 you'd have your pinball front end on a hard drive or SSD. This gives your PC dual purpose which is a great way to maximize its capabilities.

@@burg3801 I have a virtual pinball machine myself as well but I have a separate PC installed in it so I keep it separate....I forget what front end I have for it. It's been a long time since I changed anything within.
