The irony is not lost on me that everything with Deadpool has been accomplished almost solely by sheer force of will of Ryan Reynolds - the guy who played Green Lantern, a superhero whose power is derived from one’s own willpower.
It's such a weirdly rare and unique thing that Ryan not only FITS deadpool as a character, but that he's so invested in making it great. he's not burdened by the responsibility of the character but excited with making a good thing.
The fact that he paid 10k of his own money for the rights to wear that Bea Arthur T-shirt because Deadpool loves Bea Arthur says everything to me. The guy _gets_ and _loves_ the character
fr. i thought he was just advertising his gin, but i was shocked when he mentioned hugh jackman, asking him if he wants to play wolverine, and then he said yes like HOLY SHIT!!
Shawn Levy, the director of DP3, tweeted about how Stranger Things prepared him to keep his mouth shut and how it’s been “burning a hole through his lips for weeks.” yeah, this is an announcement that needs that kind of training.
There needs to be that scene from Xforce where Wolverine sticks his claws through Deadpools head and DP is like "Logan, I can feel you in my head! Are you a telepath now?" That made me laugh so hard when I read that comic.
Ryan Reynolds is not only a marketing genius, his in person charisma and genuine likability must be off the charts. Not only did he get the first movie made thru pure determinations, the man got Cher, Dolly Parton, and Celine Dion to bless off on using their music in a rated R movie (Deadpool 2). Now he's brought back Jackman to the comics fold.
You know what I want? Hugh Jackman as himself, actor Hugh Jackman, in Deadpool 3. Multiverse-hopping Deadpool is obsessed with him and believes he’s Wolverine, but it’s just Hugh Jackman.
Plot Twist: He really is Wolverine and he's just fucking with Deadpool until the end, like after he gets shot or stabbed or something and falls down and Deadpool is all like "oh Hugh Jackman!" crying over him. Then Deadpool looks away for some reason (swearing vengeance on the attacker maybe?) and as he's turned, Hugh gets up, cracks his neck while his wound heals and pops claws with some snarky comeback.
If you watch with the subtitles the lyrics to the song read " and I will always love Hugh" because Ryan is a comedic genius and a shockingly good marketing team. Like he broke the internet and made a DP2 post credit scene actually be a hint at what's next. And that was the one made of stock footage. It blows my mind how good this is.
How hilarious would it be if they did a self contained Deadpool universe where they do Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe, and the opening starts with a fourth wall break and he just goes, "Just so you know, this has nothing to do with the main Marvel universe. I'm sure some pg13 version of me will show up there eventually, but for now, this is my movie." And then he kicks a door open and blasts some hero like Renner's Hawkeye in the head outright.
I am so excited about this. I have always wanted this to happen. I know he said he was basically done with Wolverine but then Deadpool came out and I just really emotionally wanted Wolverine to show up. And now it's gonna happen Thank You Ryan Reynolds and thank you Marvel Universe!!!!
You're not going to thank Hugh? He made that role his own after they got him in as a backup. Nobody thought he could do it. It was a Batman '89 situation. Now he is Wolverine and anyone who tries to step into those shoes is going to have to give more than everything to match the intensity Hugh gave the role. He played the role for almost two decades and had the perfect send-off in Logan. In all honesty if he'd turned it down I wouldn't have been shocked since it almost certainly means getting back into that crazy physical fitness routine to bulk back up. By the time the movie comes out he'll be 55. It's not easy packing all that muscle back on at that age. Even though it definitely won't happen there's a slim chance the movie could flop or just not be good and now that's the last thing people remember. There's a couple of positives like getting to play opposite his best buddy Ryan and he gets to be at least a tangential part of the MCU. Other than that it's all negatives for Hugh while for Ryan it's nothing but upsides. In summary, you should thank Hugh as well. End of line.
Oh to know what discussions were actually had to make this happen! Ryan's complete understanding of what fans want and how to give it to them is absolute genius!
What you were talking about with the joy that Ryan Reynolds takes in making the Deadpool movies is just spot on. It's like the feeling you get watching The Legend of Vox Machina, which is stacked from top to bottom with people who really love the material and are eager to share it with the audience. You just feel it.
Super excited about the return of Wolverine!! But my biggest gasp moment was “that’s the Folklore woods from the Taylor Swift cover!!!” If you didn’t know, Taylor is close friends with Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively and did her photoshoot on their property. I am also hoping you will react to the All Too Well Short Film ❤
Nearly 20 seconds of silence from 3:55 to 4:15 and your facial reactions were EXACTLY what I was feeling. Well done guys. I was speechless. I immediately texted my friend, "HOLY SHIT" to which she responded, "Hello to you too," then I showed her the image and her response was "HOLY SHIT" Holy shit indeed. See you in 2024.
I hope, but don’t expect, that they do a scene where deadpool goes into his “mind scape” thing and breaks into a musical number and pulls wolverine in with him.
As long as marvel keeps this an R rating I will maintain my excitement. None of this TV-14 bullshit. I want people to be sliced into pieces and foul language to be said.
I absolutely love the call back to Deadpool 2 post credit scene where wade kills himself and tells Wolverine that he’s gonna hang up the claws, and that when he was asks him to come back to say yes! Lol
I got so excited when I saw this and the follow up one. I immediately called my daughter up and was gushing…… she couldn’t be bothered. I’m glad I can share my excitement and anticipation with you guys.
It brings it so full circle when in Deadpool 1 and he is narrating on how he got the movie made and he gropes imagnary testicles and says something about not being able to name names, but it rhymes with "pulverine". . . . and if Wolverine comes for DP3. . .Amazing!!!
Fun fact. I was mid hurricane sitting in a garage when I heard about this trailer and I had to watch it. Thanks guys for keeping my mind off of what's going on down here. I appreciate it.
Only in this channel we'd ever witnessed the silence of satisfaction of these two. Every time you see them react like that, they'd show that they're 'speechless' without even needing to say that word!
I saw the logo tweeted out; when someone in a stream I was watching announced the big news. I didn't believe it at first, until I saw this video! I'm so Hyped for this!! I posted it everyone I could! I'm so happy; you guys didn't get this ruined for you.
The Phase 6 timeline has an "Untitled" movie listed for Fall 2024, before the Fantastic Four in November. This is apparently going to be the start of Phase 6.
I actually can’t tell if I’m more excited to see this movie in 2 years, or for the unhinged madness of the 2-year-long advertising campaign that these beautiful, evil geniuses could thrust upon us all
This was always on the cards for Deadpool 3- Ryan knows what the fans wanted plus it's something he wanted to do for along time ever since the wolverine origin story.
That logo was the thing they came up with first. There is absolutely no doubt hey had the idea of "Wolverines claws cut the Deadpool logo marking it with three strikes." before ANYTHING else.
I knew this was gonna happen eventually when Disney(Marvel Studios/MCU) bought Fox(X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Deadpool) 3 years ago. Multiverse of Madness was only the beginning with Pat Stewart coming back as an alternate yet the OG Professor X being the leader of the Illuminati. Then here comes Hugh Jackman, another one of the OG X-Men cast. And he decided to be Wolverine for the 24th year, showing up in Deadpool 3(September 6, 2024). This release date can't come soon enough!!!
So, the 2 mutants who are all but impossible to kill in the same movie....whether they butt heads or team up this has the chance of becoming a movie-wide, never ending blood bath and I'm so here for it 😆
The absolute satisfaction on Ryan's face soon after Hugh Jackman agreed. Best day ever.
He was mirroring our own satisfaction lol
I had a fucking bad day at work
This this makes me so excited
He had a look on his face that was like yeah i pulled this shit off lol
@@elphiegleason3899 I hope you have a nicer rest of the week and yeah! This is kind of things that makes your day ^^
@@christianjohnsjohns8723 it was a mic drop moment
Ryan's eyebrow raise and slight smirk at the end, he knew millions of people just nerdgasmed.
you mean multiple-nerdgasmed? lol
The fact that the music is cued to that eyebrow raise…🎉

I really did enjoy that green lantern movie, and I'm glad he doing so well on dead pool movies too
@Nick F. Ehhh, Guy Gardner is more of an ass though. Like, rough around the edges, douchebag sorta type.

Ryan is such a marketing genius for using the trailer to market Aviation Gin
i think his hat has the wrexham football club logo on it
fr. i thought he was just advertising his gin, but i was shocked when he mentioned hugh jackman, asking him if he wants to play wolverine, and then he said yes like HOLY SHIT!!
He uses everything to market Aviation Gin.

If Ryan's Deadpool interacts with Tom Holland Spider-Man, even just in passing, It will be my favorite MCU moment hands-down.
My favorite would be Spider-Man, Firestar, and iceman meeting (I grew up with Spider-Man and his amazing friends)
Or a Deadpool and Rocket racoon spin-off
Whenever there's a shocked silence afterwards from the boys you know it's great. The Batman trailer, Loki finale, and now this
I went back and watched their first batman reaction just cuz of this comment 🤌🤌🤌

Knives Out influence

Shawn Levy, the director of DP3, tweeted about how Stranger Things prepared him to keep his mouth shut and how it’s been “burning a hole through his lips for weeks.”

This teaser is historic. Ryan Reynolds is a God for convincing Hugh to come back as the Fox-Marvel debut.
I saw this teaser about 20 minutes ago and almost lost my stuff completely I've been dancing around the house singing Hugh is back Hugh is baaaaack
That little smirk at the end there.. he knows exactly what he's doing (to us!) and could not be happier about it
