Counter point being that people had to actively avoid legends league because it was soo easy to reach, had they left all other leagues as it was, 95%+ of the player base would still end up inside of the effected bracket regardless
I don’t want to be forced to play in hard mode, I didn’t spend half my life upgrading heroes and equipments just to have them nerfed for hard mode.

I agree. I have my everything maxed except heros(Mid 80’s.)finished last season 6100. Before this season i usually finished between 5700-5800. Usually tripled half my raids. First day in new legend league im getting 50% 2 star raids. I just feel like clash throws tournaments for the people who like playing on hard mode. Why does the entire legend community have to be forced to play in this new “hard mode” format.
I am that 26 yo player played this game since 2013-14 and I feel you. It sucks they're changing what we got used for years and not focusing key parts of the game.
Attacking is a key part of the game though. In fact its the entire point of the game 😂
Attacking and defending both should've been key parts of the game but earlier they weren't and in this update they fixed it

Every TH14 in the world is witch 16… it’s the new baseline for 14, at least the good ones. Top 20% of TH will move up after this month.

I only did 1 revenge attack without knowing and got 50k shiny, 1k glowy and 400 starry ores. Sadly I didnt know I have gotten that much ore until I looked it up on reddit and by that time it had been patched.

This update seems to have banned players from being able to push trophies because there is a limit on attacks for rank up.

As one of the players who took advantage of the ore glitch, I have been grinding the game for a fair while and those ores come in handy to help get on with a system that is extremely difficult to beat. That being said, I agree with your point that it is unfair and I think supercell should work to ensure nothing like this ever happens again. If my equipment levels that I invested in got taken away, it wouldn't bother me due to the unfair circumstances in which I received it in the first place. However, I ask you this and others this, wouldn't you have also taken advantage of the situation given the chance? (Just my thoughts, don't make me the enemy here).

I totally hate the change of trophy ranks, I've been grinding a lot before the update and reached 5340 trophy, and then after the update they just erased my rank back to zero like it was nothing! It didn't even show the highest trophy i reached in my profile! That's I'm really pissed of and i don't even like the new ranking system or the match making
Stopped playing in wars few years ago to upgrade heroes and now confused whether to upgrade it or not
@avitaz6817 nah I mean hero upgrade for the rank battle system . U need to perform better for promotion. And I can just perform decent and stay in same league while upgrading heroes.
You can opt out of tournaments and do casual attacks while your heroes upgrade.
Don't stop playing wars, ores are more imp than hero lvls after th 15.
Move to FWA clan to war and upgrade heroes at the same time😊

Bro I'm really disappointed I had 5400 something trophies on the end and just because I'm a th 15 they put me into "golam 20" i pushed for the first time and for only like last 2 weeks and was facing fully maxed th 17s and my friends account who was in champions his account is sitting on "elecrodrag 30"

I didn't even know about the ore glitch, I likely missed it because I was only able to revenge someone a day after the update.
I HATE The new rank badge system, I miss the trophies I've been playing since 2017 and the trophies were a huge part of the game for me while I am in Golem rank and I don't have to deal with an ugly rank badge i would still rather have the regular trophy system. ALSO, I hate how the spring traps do damage now, and they shouldn't be they should be the same as they should be.

@kvaradona9248this sums up the divide in the community. There is a huge chunk of 12, 13, 14 players annoyed with decrease in their star bonus and then the TH17 who only need starry and can’t sympathize with the problem. Up to TH14 the bottleneck is shiny and glowy as your epic equipment doesn’t require that much starry for level cap. People would rather have their 1000 shiny and 50 glowy than the starry ore.

they should have kept the old trophy system and leagues in the regular battle mode and just added the ranking system alongside it. just completely removing the trophy’s and league badges for the regular attack mode was a horrible idea. the ranked badges look awful as well, very underwhelming and disappointed in this update. i wanted rank mode bad but not like this.

There's an easy fix to it just reduce the tournament days in lower league from 1 week to maybe 3-4 days where you already get 6-10 attacks and you can use them in a single day so progression will be faster ;)

The design for the badge can definitely be improved, but the implementation of the new ranked/throphy system is for the better. You are allowed to not play the ranked mode if you are not that into it. The new ranked mode shows who are the really good player that should definitely be placed in their correct rank and not spam e drags all the way to legends leaague
Completely agree, if people are too angry about the reduction of ores, maybe they can slightly increase it at the lower leagues

I think the Common Denominator of the changes is that Ores are one of the most tedious resources to collect, often essential to strategies for hero eqiupment. Now grinding for more ore means you have to play ranked to get more ore per star bonus
They should roll back those players that were grossly overcompensated with Starry Ore. 400 Starry Ore is a huge advantage!

The new rank system has a lot of issues, its broken right now that even if you get max stars on all your attacks you still wont get promoted if you were unlucky and have all good players 3 star you, and then people who happen to get bad players attack them gets promoted.

In new update when I play night village mode my cannon cart circle means the radius show how much long we can attack did not show up some time 😢 which leads to very differently in attacking

I’m kind of mixed about the update, but the one thing I really didn’t like was the ore glitch. Some of my clanmates who never even join wars managed to max out like 3 epics because of it, while I’m always in wars, haha.
Yeah man the thing i most disliked is next time buying event pass for ores only to remember that some out there wont even need it and could spend on books and stuff .

as someone who got 1400 starry Ores from it, its the best part of the update. Finally i can catch up with all those Pay 2 Win whales out there 3 starring bases left right and centre with the help of level 27 equipment and meanwhile I'm here sitting duck cuz I just can't compete with them being F2P.

Main thing is a lot of people didn't even realised it was a glitch and got the ores so sc making it look it was cheating and if they do anything it will negetively effect them like it or not its how things r they will not do anything and this is there fault and it was after update bug so people didn't even know about it until someone noticed and it got viral they cannot ban people off of it and they shouldn't too making a statement about it is stupid they will make it fair idk how they will make it fair there's always gonna be more backlash after it so they should leave it like it or not u got it than ots fine and if u don't get it than its fine too it was likea lucky event nothing more or less

*My opinion on this update:*
Good things:
- Finally the wait is over after some weeks. We got some new upgrades of the Spring Trap, Ranked Mode and the battle system in general. It shows they listened to fans.
- If you watched the Meeting Livestream you could've gotten 5 free chests. I personally got some Glowy Ore; Capital Gold, Gold, Elixir & a magic snack, which was good for CWL.
- If you watched the RUclips videos about this new update (3 videos) you could've gotten 2x Clan Castle Cakes, 2x Mighty Morsel & 2x Builder Bites, great for CWL and some time reduction.
- It's smart to drop this update during CWL as that way you maximize the active playerbase and also help those with those Magic Snacks for their attacks. I got 18/21 stars this month :D
- No more trophy losses over farming is for me huge. I love to farm for loot with Sneaky Goblin armies so this is amazing.
- Free gems for new achievements and the trophy leagues. It's great for players who already play this game for years & have a higher TH level to get a fair 3600 gems compensation.
Bad things:
- This update is so huge that they should've given more information than the information on the website. The videos explaining the changes also didn't give us all the details.
- After you updated the game, there were 2 massive bugs: 1) your mobile phone crashed randomly or 2) you got a massive amount of Ore after a Revenge.
- They should award all people some Ore for compensation of the Ore bug. This is unfair to most of the players and gives those who got them an unfair advantage.
- They should've made the sign-up for your league maximim 4 hours instead of 18 hours. 4 hours is plenty of time and that way you can let people download the update & do some upgrades.
- The maintenance break of the Ore bug took almost 2 hours instead of 1 hour without changing the "Soon". This is annoying and it's better to just give us "1h" than "Soon".
- Why do you get put in a league based on TH first and then on trophies? I get it, you don't want players to drop down week after week but like if they want to push, let them.
People literally poured hours of their lived into the highest trophy stat on their profile, now that is all wasted time…
Stop being so dramatic bro. It absolutely was not wasted. Everyone upgraded during those hours of game play. Trophies are absolutely worthless and meaningless.

Actually, I’m really disappointed with the number of attacks available in ranked battles - it’s limited to just 10 attacks per tournament. I’ve already used all my attacks on the first day, and now I have to wait an entire week for the tournament to end. Moreover, the battle mode isn’t as exciting as the ranked mode, since it focuses only on looting rather than earning trophies.
We really need a system similar to the Legend League, where players get a fixed number of battles each day and receive promotions at the end of the week.

And you definitely wasn't in legends league before
So you can literally attacks just like older days for loot you will find good base there too
I mean, there are multiple reasons why I think the current system also has good points.
First of all, the number of attacks is determined by the league you're in (apparently, the data showed supercell that people in lower leagues would generally do less battles). So, in the higher leagues, you would get up to 30 attacks per tournament or 8 attacks per day in the new legends league.
With this system, you are also able to upgrade multiple heroes more easily at once. You can do all your attacks on one day (let's say Wednesday), start your hero upgrades, and then attack with all your heroes the next week.
I know upgrading heroes might not be a priority for many people right now (due to hero potions and equipment), but even without considering this point, what could possibly be "better" with the current system?
Although I would consider myself an active player, and I know doing a few attacks daily doesn't take that long, I would rather not get "punished" when I can't play for one day and thus possibly lose the chance for a promotion or even get demoted.

Yes, actually I’m a TH14, and currently, Witch 16 is the maximum level available for Town Hall 14. However, I don’t understand why the number of attacks differs between leagues. As I mentioned earlier, I feel that each league should have the same number of attacks since all players are matched with the same Town Hall level.
Also, in the previous Legend League system, once we entered the league, we were given a fixed number of attacks each day-just like the current Legend League setup. Since this new system feels like a mini version of that, I’m suggesting that the same fixed-attack system should be applied across all leagues for fairness.
Moreover, the current battle mode feels like it’s only for looting. It doesn’t give any real adrenaline rush because whether I win or lose doesn’t really matter-it doesn’t affect anything. That makes the gameplay feel a bit boring and less competitive.
@baastii4886Upgrading heroes is a valid point, but what about the unequal number of attacks in different leagues? We’re all competing with the same Town Hall level, so why should the number of attacks vary across leagues?

Total BS that I was part of my clan that lost all trophies and the other half got to keep all their trophies
I deleted the game I’ll check in periodically to see if they change it back but if they don’t they lost a 11 year player I won’t be back till they bring back the old trophy system

This game from fun then transformation into very serious game, I don’t get the point anymore to upgrade to TH18 in the future
My biggest problem is that it will take forever to get back up to the leagues for the ores. I am th13 and started valkyrie 13 or some shit. With the tournaments being a week long, just to get up to Titan will take like 2-3 months of tournament play where I get promoted every tournament and I don't miss any either. It is a crap grind that doesn't feel rewarding at all

I was in Legends league before the update. I was in the highest rank with the best bonuses. But after the update I got moved to witches but because of my town hall I got SEVERELY demoted. It's not only 10 times harder to push trophies but I'm also ONLY getting attacked by 2 town halls above me. As a returning player (pushes to legends a few months ago), hero equipment is Really REALLY hard to get because they are locked behind gems and ore which is hard to do without achievements (already unlocked and spend) or rushing. **It literally doesn't make sense to push trophies until max town hall due to how the new ranks work.** This does nothing but promote rushing even further. Why push rank all week when I can just upgrade TH and jump over a MONTH of grinding.
To be fair, all hero equipment thus far has been free, assuming you were online for the events, which naturally as you said you weren't...just dislike the bigger picture people seem to be creating of equipment costs gems, when in fact it doesn't, it's only if you fell behind and need to buy it after event...

Your forced to spend THOUSANDS of gems that could have gone twords biulders, vanity, magic items ect. And on top of that if your returning or new your always going to be behind on ores. Also you would EXPECT the hero equipment to be free if it was pay to play the community would probably have a few choices words (look what happened to clash royal). The bottom line problem is that gems are a pretty limited resource for f2p players along with ores and forcing to spend what little gems you get extra that don't go twords biulders on hero equipment just robs the player of choices to spend limited currency on.
Bring back the old trophy system😭😭

I’ve been playing Clash of Clans for over 12 years, and my clan is among the top 20 worldwide and top 10 in Europe. Out of our 20 players, many rank in the top 50 globally and top 20 in Europe. However, the worst thing that’s happened recently is that, as top players, we can barely get past 75% or 80% of an enemy village because the Legend League villages have been boosted by 30%. This completely undermines the gameplay and makes it feel pointless. It’s not about the green gems-I have over 28,000 of them and don’t really need more-but the charm of the game is lost. It’s become nearly impossible to take down even the simplest village, and heroes are so weakened that they’re easily defeated. This update is a disaster, and it’s not just me-hundreds of thousands of players feel the same way. It’s truly unfortunate.😢

Nope you are just so bad the game and that's exactly what supercell wanted to solve. I don't like me being in the same league as unskilled players.
I agree with you. they dumbed down our attacks. It is making me not want to play. As teh comment below is stupid, it has nothing to do with your skills it has to do with the unfair balance on teh side of teh defender. How stupid.
@jasonlaughren2084it has everything to do with skill. I tripled 6 times yesterday in legends compared to every single time before. I finished 833 last season and the game was way too easy.

I just dislike how once ur done with ur ranked attacks there’s nothing else to do lol. Ur just stuck attacking in battles when they just don’t mean anything until u max out ur loot

Exactly, at least with the old system if your loot was full and builders were busy you could keep battling to grind trophies. Now there is no benefit to play the game, no gain to be had for days at a time...
I have a solution. Separate ranked from trophies and loot battles. So just make it a 3rd mode. This would solve the ore problem and just add another layer of competitiveness to the game. Much like clash royale has ranked and trophy road. This would also mean people would still have the old badges.

The fact that you can't see the bases of other players on leaderboard is annoying. I just wanna see their layout that's giving them so much trophies
You can look up their clan name and find the player. I thought the same thing and wanted to see to. Unfortunately for me, he was 1 th level higher than me, and I couldn't copy base 😢

You also can’t see how many attacks they’ve made on their profile and how active they are.
they should show the bases at the end of the week (showing them during the week would give players an advantage)

LOW TOWNHALL TROPHY PUSHING IS DEAD NOW… I dont care about those ores. Them removing fun is insane to me. The game is not nostalgic anymore ever since they decided to touch lower town halls and now they even removed trophy pushing 😅

Before the update I was in legends league as a maxed th15 and now I am in golem 20. I hoped to be atleast in the dragon league

5:43 actually I was thinking same and now I am at golem 20 🤡 as my town hall is th 15 🤡 and I was at legend league with 5380 trophies wth is wrong with supercell now I have to push like 2-3 months to get to higher league even if I perform really very well and didn't get demote or be at safe zone of that week 🤡

That's the whole point of this update. If you're good at the game you can reach higher leagues

The problem isnt the fact people were moved down, its the fact it wouldtake 6 months of perfect tournaments to get back up there, assuming you can always get all 3 stars and win each one, cause a fail could mean waiting a whole extra week. Just make all the leagues daily. It makes no sense to have weekly tournaments for everyone but legends still gets daily ones

The rank wars is a joke.. why limit to ten or less attacks per week? It should be unlimited like it was before. How are we to gain trophies if we limited to only 8 attacks a week?

Because in a group of 100 people you have to be in the top 15 to get promoted.
My Brother went to titan league at th7 when the highest th was th11,and he never upgraded the th for that achievement but now after this shitty update can't even see the Highest trophies on the profile
