Just when I think FTL's finally going to give you a realitively stress free boss fight you get hit with the worst phase 3 missile RNG I've seen in a long while. Nice job pulling through bud!
Lol, thanks LandbeforeTMZ. FTL excels at punishing you any time you think you're ahead. So many boss fights have felt like a cakewalk until one bad string of missile hits or bad dodge RNG!
I have another challenge idea, the ocd pilot. You can only buy the cheapest upgrade available for your ship. For example before you can spend 20 scrap on a reactor upgrade you have to upgrade piloting and engines for 15
Wow...that means you couldn't upgrade weapons to level 3 until you've upgraded power like 5 times. THAT would be a challenge, and would definitely be different for each ship. I might have to give that a try, hah!
He died from the Zoltan exploding at around 22 minutes. And the distress does increase your chances of getting an event but increases the potential danger of the events.
Take it as a compliment or not, but for some reason i expected you to have way more subscribers before i looked at the number (it was meant as a compliment though)

i was trying out this ship on normal, and im glad im not the only one who suffered immensely during the early game
some early enemy variations destroy mantis C so badly. especially the ones with zoltan shields if you encounter them before getting shield upgrade.

I was playing ftl today and I went for a quest buy it didn't connect and I got destroyed.
Yup, I've gotten wrecked by accidental diving even WITH the extended pursuit indicator mod I use. The quests are dirty tarps sometimes!
