Excellent problem solving when the issues came up! Not only do you show the conversion but the hiccups that arise. Keeping it real is what separates you from other youtubers! Keep it up!✊💪
I started following you when you bought the Lowe. I’m mirroring a very similar build on a new 1648 Weldbilt and your vids have been invaluable these last few months. Thanks for all the education, bro. Great job on Rona!
Having the piece of aluminum that wraps the wood is a great tip! You can get a counter sync drill bit that should notch your aluminum so the screw fits flush. Works for wood. Not sure about aluminum. Maybe a step-down bit if you're careful
Great information Sir !!👍👍😁✌ We're fixing to have a few turbulent days down here !! Oh well ! That's what living in Southern Louisiana will get you !! We'll be alright !! 🤙👍👍😁✌
I am refurbishing a 16.5 ft Sea Nymph I love the vids. As I've said before I appreciate the detail in which you describe everything and why you did it....come to Florida and help me out....lol
Lol Joe. Appreciate the feedback. Your project sounds exciting. You'll have fun doing it. Shoot me some pics at bbfishing.dmv@gmail.com as you go. Good luck my friend. 🤙🏾
@@BassBrothersFishingDMV sent some starter pics. Lemme know if you have some ideas for me. I'm balling on a budget so I have to be careful how much I invest in this thing.( Need my wife to keep me around)
@@joestarling3227 I hear you dude. Keep her happy throughput the process. My wife thought I'd never finish my boat. She's more glad I finished it than I am lol.
Do you know approximately how much weight you’re at after total build, motors and two guys fishing? I’m building out the same boat and having a hard time staying on boat specs and still have two guys fishing? Thanks, Jason. Also, best build videos I’ve seen online yet, very helpful
Sorry Jason. I didn't think to keep track. I will say the boat handles very well. My brother and I fish in it all the time fully loaded and it never feels unsafe. Definitely go as light as possible regardless though. If I was to redo my boat I would go lighter on the subfloor and frame with as much 1/16" aluminum angle as much as possible.
I used 16oz marine carpet. I put a link to the exact one I used in the description below the video. Just chose the size you want. It was delivered in great condition.

What kind of carpet are you using. And where did you purchase it from?
