Holy moly this is bloody brilliant. I particularly love the way the drums drive but don't dominate the overall sound, it's a great mix. The material is so accessible the energy and enthusiasm is immense.

I never thought they did. To me that's when a band cuts members when it involves money like Dimmu Borgir, They claimed the bassist ICX Vortex and the Keyboarder Mustis were never ready to perform and that one of the two was always drunk. Yet to me they were always amazing and now they are not with Dimmu after their latest album I haven't even seen or heard anything from Dimmu. Their new stuff was OK but nothing like what it used to be and I miss the clean vocals and feel like Mustis composed really epic parts.
The whole underground only crap the original black metal bands had was to elitist and really doesnt apply to the genre anymore. If it still matters you need to grow up. As soon as you release music for pay ,and you are getting paid ,you have technically sold out.
Im really so glad that I discovered the Satyricon in about 2001-2002 with the song Filthgrinder - it was INCREDIBLE night! Super set and performance in this video! Also me very like the idea of the construction of the light frames looks like a crosses. Thanks for sharing! Keep it up and all the best!
I saw you guys in concert two months ago in Pordenone, in the north-east of Italy. You were amazing and I enjoyed your concert a lot, which lasted more than two hours. Nice to watch now your recent performance from Hellfest. Black metal rules! \m/
BM I'm so glad I found you one day I decided to buy some random CDs and I bought a immortal cd and Carpathian Forest and what got me into satyricon was when I heard king on the net about twelve years ago and IV done a nose dive straight into the black metal scene cradle of filth is one of my favourite bands that's the beginning for me at 15years old my teacher bought me cradle of filth cruelty and the beast I loved that album but it wasn't until i learnt of Elizabeth bathory I fukn fell in love with that album because I never new that the lyrics were based on a real person till I was alot older
Sort of annoyed at myself I didn't go see them. I was outside the tent but I was just so drained from the preceding week of travelling and being out pretty much every night in Paris. Still, I will see you again Satyricon!
A black metal band that can actually play how novel. Love these guys second fave blackened band next to Enslaved. Gives me same vibe when I heard Celtic Frost To Mega Therion back in the eighties.
Always a pleasure to watch this fantastic show. It's a pity, that no one records the show at Reeveland Open Air 2018! Btw: Mister Satyr, very sexy legs in very skinny jeans... :D
