2:41 as Chan once said to Felix "one of the main reasons stray kids music can be stray kids music is because we have a voice like yours within our 8 voices", it not only helps them stand out from other groups but is also one of the biggest ways people discover them. An insane amount of people in the fandom ended up becoming fans after Felix's voice caught their attention so while I also prefer his singing voice I understand why they depend on his deeper voice more as it's often the wow-factor in their songs that people have the biggest reaction to during their songs and def played a huge role in them blowing up. I agree that they should still have him singing in some songs tho cuz his voice is too good and versatile to not be showcased more.

If you hear Felix just talking normal his voice goes from deep to high pending on his mood and the situation as well. Stray kids also use a lot of their voices for the backing and adlibs in all their songs so I wouldn't be surprised if they use the higher register Felix here and there...Chan is a big one for hitting high notes in the backing and doesn't get enough recognition for it

Btw this solo song is from non-promoted fan gift album Skz Replay. That's why it's only popular among of stays. Other 7 members have their solo songs in that album too. All members wrote their own solo songs and listening 8 of them back to back is like really a journey.

Thank you for finally getting to this one. Felix's singing voice is so angelic and widely loved. The other 2 songs he uses more of the singing voice in is Any and Ssick. You should react to those to see different sides of his voice also. I think deep end is very well known and appreciated by all those who really know stray kids and felix.

It’s not the company that is restricting him to only sing in his deep voice. In actual fact stray kids have total control of their songs arrangements and choreography. Bang Chang, the leader, together with Changbin and Han are the main singer song writers and arrangers and when all are singing they utilise each individual’s uniqueness. What makes Felix stand out is his deep voice coming out of an angelic sweet person. But they are starting to include solos and ballads with fewer members in their newer albums to showcase all their abilities which are not apparent in their group songs. Felix wrote the melody, the lyrics and sang himself. They are unique because they are not a manufactured band like many other K-pop groups or in Fact like many western boy bands.
