    Just got this guy in the mail today. Gave the transformation a go, but definitely felt off, as the entire backpack was angled weird. Not unheard of with an official transformation. The soft click is really diabolical as it literally feels like you have to force it the first couple of times, but once the backpack, and waist are properly aligned it looks so much better, and well worth the effort. Big thanks for the fix, saved a lot of undue frustration.

      Dude the soft click scared me, requires much more force than you originally think

    I was fiddling with the nose for literally 4 hours trying to get it to fit properly because I knew something wasn’t right. THANK YOU! Now I can proudly display my birthday gift

    Thank You Thank You Thank You, your videos saved my skyquake form being sold. Took me a few try as well as rewatchs but your video helped me out some much. Keep up the great work

    This is EXACTLY what I needed. Thank you so much. There are a million ways to try to get that nosecone oriented, and I don’t know if I would have ever found out how to get it right on my own, because the amount of force needed to get that click, especially the first time, is way past what you would think, and the instructions just completely failed here.

      Always happy to help others see how to orient that nose cone, it was such a pain when I first got the figure, saw the video I referenced and figured recording my own would help get it to more people

    I knew there was a reason why that grey joint was cut out almost perfectly like that. It *is* supposed to fit into the cockpit section!

    I've had this figure for a few months now and I wanted to like it so bad but I was so disappointed until I saw ur video. Thank you so much for that fix. It's like it's a new figure again to me.

      @@AlucardNightraven I don't know why hasbro doesn't release their own transformation instruction videos at this point

  • @DennisMoultonAKAGotBot

    I thought this needed a mod to work at first. Interestingly, I found to accomplish this, I neended to adjust the order of operations. I had to push the entire nosecone down first then fold the tip in. Forgot about the angled cockpit.

    • @AlucardNightraven
      @AlucardNightraven  Год назад +3

      That's what I thought too until I came across the video I mention. I don't like modding my figures unless its an add-on or filler kit. Transforming the nosecone first works better, i didnt even think of that until a couole days after i made this update video, instructions they give us are never clear enough or tend to miss something

    • @DennisMoultonAKAGotBot
      @DennisMoultonAKAGotBot Год назад

      @Alucard Nightraven Funny enough, the instructions are really clear....they just transform it wrong lol. Either way, agreed, this is way better than cutting and shaving stuff

      @@AlucardNightraven Yeah, on my copy landing gear sticks out more (about 0,5mm), so folding nosecone first worked better too. Though I'm a bit concerned about that thin plastic in the torso slider joint and how the shoulders are attached to the chest (clear plastic). I guess it's like MP line - not intended to transform back and forth a lot...

      I'm glad it helped you too, when I saw the video I linked in the description showing me how to do this I wanted to get it out there for more collectors and TF fans to see, its a great mild and knowing the proper transformation makes it even better in my opinion

    A great fix, but no matter how much I try, I can't get that nosecone to click, and don't want to push it to breaking. Will give it a week or two and try again so I don't overwork it.

    • @AlucardNightraven
      @AlucardNightraven  Месяц назад

      I understand, you have to have the cockpit in the right position for part of it and it can be a little rough at first but you get used to it after a few transformations

    • @AlucardNightraven

      I haven't been able to find a simpler way other than what I show in the video, it's just getting that part of the jet in the right position for that thwoop.

    • @nameforcomments4092
      @nameforcomments4092 6 месяцев назад

      That really sucks. The amount of force needed to get it to click made me terrified I was going to break mine, and apparently that can indeed happen. I know it’s rough seeing all the comments of folks for whom it worked when yours snapped, all because Hasbro made a series of questionable to poor choices in design, tolerances, and instructions, so just sending some sympathy a year late.
