The Omnissiah said, in pristine lingua-technis, "I command the machine to give itself to all humanity, to all those of flesh or metal". And that's what happened. The Omnissiah made every one of them. Then the Omnissiah looked at what it had done, and it was good.
Thanks! I definitely plan to continue, working on another now. I’m definitely not short of support, it’s been awesome seeing so many positive responses already
what it feels like when you open task manager and all your computer's lag magically disappears. Best piece of music I have heard in a while keep up the good work!
When that happens, it usually means you have a bitcoin miner unknowingly installed onto your computer. Have you pirated any games or upset the machine spirit recently?
I used this for my Skitarii character in Rogue Trader. Yeah, the character is an Explorator, but is reskinned as Skitarii. I like how the pipe organ is the main iconic instrument for the AdMech.
FInally someone who takes the liturgic aspects seriously and makes them present in the music! Not just some very distant undefineable choir with _too much_ reverb and no clean organ playing whatsoever, like it is mostly the case! Very well made! This deserves to be supported, I will buy your music on ko-fi! Thank you!
Thanks for your support! I understand where you're coming from too. I've definitely heard music of that description. To be fair some people want that kind of thing as it's more of an ambient backdrop, but musically it can get a bit stale.
1:37 - 2:31 was one of the most satisfying transitions I have ever heard 2:04 when the pipe organ and choir kick in as the servitor "awakens", Praise the Machine God!!
My audio receptors were greatly pleased listening to this hymn. May your talent and devotion to the Omnissiah keep you producing more works of fine art for us humble servants of the Machine God.
A marked improvement on the first one! By coupling revving of engine belts with the tinny percussive sequence you've (re-)discovered something authentic. I better not go into details. Suffice to say such aural glimmers of Omnissiah are most inspiring, adept. We are blessed for it!
Sir. They called from Marsh and said they need four million more this sweet tones for tomorrow. So warm up yours servitors and as Omnissiah await for praying.
“Bless’d servant of the Omnissiah, who inhabits this machine, may you accept this humble repair and enhancement of your inner mechanisms. Let the motion granted by the Motive Force flow through you in the form of holy lightning. That you shall be empowered to serve in the task of your creation, that is, creation. Have mercy and accept this prayer spirit in the name of the Machine God.” -Cult Mechanicus adept Clawso (0.377.022.M03)
May the Omnissiah bless this techno-acoustic for the further creation of psalms pleasing machine-God. May he protect him from defilement. Let the weakness of the flesh not become an obstacle to him and the sanctity of the machine will help him. for the machine is immortal...
The machine spirits under my maintenance routine liked this. I shall petition the magos for the integration of this musical piece into our daily mantras
Two for two so far, man. Damn nice track Though IMO, it sounds less like a Servitor production line and more of a tribunal judging an acolyte. Not for any infractions, mind - but whether or not they should be elevated into the priesthood proper. Initially it sounds more like some sort of pre-combat intro. The hollow pipe noises sounding like some sort of scanner, with the ping eventually returning a report. Or perhaps the acolyte stepping forth before a tribunal, listening to judgement, hearing their inquiries and accusations and returning with answers and retorts. Perhaps the acolyte might even be a Skitarii, thinking back to the thing that caused this tribunal (sole survivor of a frantic ambush perhaps?) Then at 2:00 the Tribunal reaches their decision. The Skitarii or acolyte or whomever is not found to be guilty of any grave fault, and are deemed to be a worthy admission into the priesthood. Everything after that is the background to their augmentation ceremony. Insertion of the potentia coil, addition of the mechadendrites and their control circuitry, installation of the electoo. Then, at 3:26 the background instruments fall silent as a new member of the Priesthood is welcomed into the fold.
I can definitely imagine your description working well with the music. I particularly like your interpretation of the second half. In my head it was a first person perspective of a criminal arriving by ship to a forge world to be turned into a servitor. He's being led down aisles of intense machinery until he is finally locked-in for operation at 1:36, the rest is his transformation until his brain is wiped and is finally a tool for the machine god.
Thus thy audio waves passed onto my cognitive processor, making my faith bolstered along with my enjoyment percentage increased. Well machined. Keep up the satisfactory work it is benifactial for all.
this is pretty nice, would love seeing some more high bpm style tracks like noosphere or overlord. i think you managed to get a pretty unique sound while still having that core that made guillaume's works so thematic for mechanicus
Thanks! That’s really great to hear. I’ll definitely make some higher bpm tracks eventually. I’m working on some more creative synth design as I feel like my music could do with more of that.
This is actually really good and - looking at the amount of subscribers on your channel - came out of pretty much nowhere. So I'll just leave a comment to stoke the Algorithm, and while I'm at it, I might as well assure you that if you keep producing tracks like this one, I'll keep buying them. So keep 'em coming.
@@Archotechna my brother in omnissiah, no idea what prayer u used on that monster, but it certainly heeded your will, for it's fruit is fire. Fire i say!
Everything I could have hoped for! You have a niche Ive been seeking content for ever since mechanicus came out. I adore the low thrumming base that fills the background like a heartbeat and no other channel really seems to lean into it. The high organs come off a little more "synth" than the real gems from mechanicus which is a perfectly valid choice, though it does pull the vibe away from "gothic". Maybe look to things like "davy jones suite" or "no time for caution" for examples of crisp organ arrangement distinct from the game? In any case well done, you earned a sub and i look forward to you next upload!
Thanks. Yeah, I was in the same boat about seeking this kind of niche music, that's why I started this project! I understand what you mean about the synth organ sound, I just felt it worked a bit better with everything else that was going on in the mix. I intend to do more acoustic organ stuff in the future though! Appreciate the feedback.
Thanks! It’s different for each track. But basically I just start with one element (like bass, choir, drums etc) and then slowly build on it. I’m fairly experienced in sound design so there’s a lot of messing around with synths until I think something fits right. I always have an idea in mind for what sound I’m trying to incorporate next, but it can change as I’m working on it as happy accidents often occur. I hope that answers your question somewhat.
