I have found that to keep my weight in check is to do a cleanse every few years, to flush all the toxins out of my body first, then I lose all the desire to eat junk food and my body actually desires healthy food but that's me and NOT overweight but sometimes get 20 pounds too heavy. When I slim down I feel better and can move around better and life is better in general.

I talked to my doctor in great length about this and I we formulated a plan to do Wegovy short term to get me started on weight loss. I think long term I will modify my lifestyle and food intake and choices. That’s the ultimate goal 👍👍👍

Thank you Dr. Frita, I can always count on you for sensible advice. My Nurse Practioner asked if I wanted to try Ozempic and I immediately said yes. I fit all of the categories: morbid obesity, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disease and so on. Somehow, i received the medication right away and instantly felt buyer's remorse, I know longer wanted to do it. Well, I changed my mind again and I'm going to start giving myself the injections next Monday, I pray that I do well. 🙏 ❤

I have been on Mounjaro for past three months, perscribed for my type2 Diabetes. My blood sugar has decreased but my weight loss has been also been significant. The price is very costly.

If you don’t have a life to live, you’ll not live your life to the fullest. Most folks don’t care about living. You need a reason to live!!! Most people feel they don’t. That’s the heart of the issue. “LIFE” check out most homeless people.

My doc took me off the other DM meds due to kidney issues. He put me on ozempic. It’s been about eight months and just recently my BS are finally in the normal range. I have lost ten pounds. Frankly, I lost much more weight quicker with Weight Watchers. The appetite depressant part was concerning for me but that has stabilized because I don’t eat out nearly as much because restaurant food is gross compared to my home cooking. It’s hasn’t been the quick fix that people think. You are telling it like it is. Also unfortunately it is very expensive.

When I did WW, I too lost weight, but I couldn't get past being hungry all-the-time.
      However, congratulations! on your success.

I agree. There’s no rapid weight loss. I’ve lost maybe 2lbs. Unfortunately I’m pre diabetic so I’m really trying to lose weight but no matter what i do i can’t drop these pounds. I am experiencing loss of appetite for sure. I wish i could work out. I’m disabled with limited mobility so I’d hoped this would help. I feel sick sometimes though…Like my sugar levels drop to fast. I’ve been on this about 6 months now. I went from .5 to 1 per week now. I’m not sure how some are saying they lost 30#s lol I wish i could…

Dr. I have CKD(FSGS/Nephrotic Syndrome), high BP, fatty liver, and high cholesterol... I'm not sure if I should take ozempic especially since it may affect my CKD stage 2. I'm thinking about Intermittent fasting and see how that works for me.🤞🏼 I'm all over the place though. I'm really glad I found your page. I will definitely check out your videos for more info regarding CKD. Thank you Dr.
