Love the DIY table. I would remove the tiny sconces, patch the walls, use a bigger black mirror and a chunky table lamp or two. Maybe a big vase & some stems. It will make your space look bigger. It’s bottom heavy now atm. Not feeling the small sconces that only direct the light down like a spotlight.
I love change! I will say all these new pieces I’m adding in are for the new house, just getting an early start so I can sell or giveaway old furniture and decor
Love the changes, the new furniture is beautiful. I love black and a lot of my pieces in my home are black. I really feel it’s so much easier to decorate your home when your space is neutral. I love colour but I add it in with pillows, blankets etc.
My house is a smaller version of the house you have. I have been adding the black accents to my house as you have done. Last October I painted the glass doors that are the patio and my office. The doors were over 30 years old and black was perfect. They look like new doors. My girls couldn't stop commenting about them at Christmas. Thanks for all the ideas and motivation.

Love everything you did, and I know it will look even better in your new house. May I give one suggestion that I think will make a big difference? I noticed a lot of your faux greenery leans more sage green in color, such as the eucalyptus, and feels more "farmhouse". But I think in this style more natural green stems look better, they have an organic look to them. You could try it in one area and see how you like it.
Everything looks very nice and "organic modern" ! So many people are so timid about picking up a paint brush! Nice to see you showing how it's done! I was recently having some painting done; I asked the painter how he avoids the brush marks, he said to add a few drops of water to it. get a piece of scrap wood and try it to get it to go on smoother. You can always add another drop of water, but can not remove it (unless you're not diluting the whole can like he was) I have Museum Wax for putting in the bottom of candle holders to steady them in place, it's useful for other things also.
