Yeah I used to never "like" sway bars but some cars seriously need them😵💫😅 I think this car would be OK without but it's always nice having a bit of extra stability if you can get it👌
Nice. That thing really goes! Both my first RCs are out of action but I'm waiting on a new brushless 1:16 th the upgraded Gantry, which I guess will be similar to the Q117 . I've got wheels from the others in case the ones on it are too smooth. I'm gtoing to be a lot more careful with this one, try not to get it so wet. I won't put aluminium on the back on it 😄 but might try some steel. I'll see what I can find. Could be a fun experiment.
Sorry for the late reply mate🤦 This is a very fast car for 1/16 definitely😯 Yeah awesome you got the Gantry Pro, yes same as the Q117 just with a different body. Honestly the only upgrade you'll need are shocks and wheels, all the diffs and everything will be steel not plastic like the brushed version so they are very tough. More fun that's the main thing🤪🤘
@@rccrazy Well. I got the Gantry and only got about an hours use before it cartwheeled and stopped working. The motor goes but the wheels don't It must have smashed the diff or something. I can't fix it and don't know anyone who can. All my RCs have broken really quickly. Its so sad and frustrating, I don't think I'll be buying any more. I can't afford it. 😥

Price vs what you get this and the Q117 would be very similar but saying that the Q117 is maximum $130 Australian anywhere and this is around $200 most places unless on sale. On sale at like $160 Australian or less that would be the BEST rc deal EVER seen in my opinion.
Similar? If nothing else, the body is the same right down to the petrol cans and fire extinguisher in the truck bed. But the RoG1 came with a Rlaarlo radio, not a DumboRC (I've had both, the Dumbo has better build quality)
I believe it is the same yes just rebranded and possibly different electronics as @Boogie_the_cat stated. I think the esc is different aswell, I watched a few video that showed a difference in the throttle response between the two cars, the Rog has a softer start (less punch lower down in the throttle)
