They really should invest in cameras that allow a live stream, you subscribe monthly and have unlimited access to shows. Having them viewable in real time.
As a broke New Yorker who loves broadway, I'd appreciate it if shows weren't so damn expensive! I went to see water for elephants, it was a great show, but I don't think I would have gone to see it at all if it weren't for the fact that it was my sisters birthday and my mom got tickets for me and her to go see the show. Thats usually how we end up seeing shows, on birthdays.
As long as there are investors willing to gamble (I mean invest) $$$ for new shows on Broadway, I think Broadway will be fine. Once producers can’t find any investors then that’s when I’d worry.
