One awesome solo I’d like to learn from you would be “Godzilla” by BOC. The whole song is virtually a solo and any lesson you could do would be awesome! Thank you for the great content!
Perfect timing, Nate :D I just started working on a backing track and a BOSS Katana Patch in the style of B.B. King and this video is perfect for learning about the nuances in his playing. Plus, this is such an iconic solo and a great song.
Brilliant tutorial Nate. I am working my way into this solo quite nicely. Are there any more blues solo passages you can think of that are of the same level? I feel like I improve a lot learning these solos. And I love music theory, so thank you for breaking it down. Thank you
Suggestion. If you will think chords (arpeggio) (1,(3b -3),5,b7) and some chromatism. It is much easier to learn it. Works for me - And I hope it is same for everybody.
I think you make it more complicated than it really is, why move so much when you can play the same notes in less space? for example 7 and 12 are the same
Indeed one of the most iconic solos. Great lesson thank you!
Dude this is fun, thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very cool! Minor blues has such a magical sound.
Yeah, I love the Gmaj7 to F#7 chord change on this song.

I can't play any music Instrument but your videos are super cool to watch. I'm just surprised you have not a million subs.
Thanks for watching.
