I had the biggest crush on this girl back in 8th grade. I brought her presents every holiday and I wrote her sweet cards and she loved it (and we have basically never talked before this). So I brought her all of these gifts and made her feel like the sweetest girl in the world. I even gave her a teddy bear, a pack of gum, a card and a box of chocolates for Valentine’s Day and me and this girl have really never talked before. But I was doing all of this out of complete randomness just because I knew that I really liked her. However, out of all of this, all the things I did for her that year, I was all over her, but I never even had the guts to ask her out. I never made my move. And than about a couple weeks later, my friend asked her out and she said yes. They did break up a couple months ago but that just goes to show you how precious life is. Make your mark before someone else beats you to it. Life is to short to dwell on the little things. Just what ever you are doing with your life, stop wasting time and just go all in. At the end of the day, you got nothing to loose. You only get one life, so trust me it will be worth it. Even if she says no, you will be glad that you got it off your chest!
