I am so glad you can wound its legs now. Normal Brachydios was always a pain to hunt with DB because you couldn't. I find this one much easier actually.

ハンマーは５分台。やっぱ単純に相性が悪いと思う。
定点攻撃が強いのに、ダウン中にも粘菌爆破攻撃してきて双剣との相性の悪さ抜群
でかすぎて弱点部位も狙いにくいし

Does the tenderizing attack after Ox2 tenderizes in 1 hit? Db should tenderize with two triangles or am i missing something?

Is safi gear with normal crit element better than true crit element?
Why did you go for the leg? Is that a weak point on Raging? And why run a health regen augment with resentment? I thought that counter acted the buff from resentment as it automatically refill s the health lost from Safi health drain.
Unlike normal Brachydios, Critical Brachy can trip during the whole hunt; even when he's angry. The leg isn't a weak spot, but if you tenderize it like masa did, then you can get him to trip a lot (like you see in the video). It's pretty much the only option DB and SnS users have because their reach is so short.
I see this question everywhere ever since safijiva armour and resentment meta came along. You loose hp before your hit lands on anything it all happens in fragment of a second but if you pay attention you will realize , be it a melee weapon like greatsword or ranged, you are always gonna loose hp before your hit lands on monster and resentment always activates, and after the hit health augment will heal you. You will always benefit from Safi+resentment no matter what. The only exception is that after required number of hits safi armour will heal you, if you manage to get a single hit within that healing duration it won't benefit from resentment depending on how much hp was long. But that has nothing to do with health augment hence why there is nothing wrong with taking health augment while running resentment

Critical Brachy has always been a bit weaker to ice, even in 4th gen. It's minor, but it's there. In Iceborne they changed it so that normal Brachy is also more weak to ice, but hitzones are impossible to find before PC releases of updates so I'm not sure if Critical Brachy is still weaker to ice in Iceborne as well.

He mounted it earlier and used the attack to hit it once when it was tenderized still. That second attack let it tenderize it since it still counted as 2 attacks with a light weapon.
