You are completely ignoring stalwarts like Waheeda Rahman, Smita Patil, Ratna & Supriya Pathak (the older lady here) sisters, Deepti Naval, Shefali Chhaya/Shah, Shabana Azmi, and among the more recent actresses, Konkona Sen Sharma, Nandita Das, Rani Mukherjee, Kangana Ranaut, Vidya Balan, Radhika Apte, Aaliya Bhatt, Tilottama Shome,and so many more who have given stellar performances time and again. I've loved Bhoomi, Taapsi, and Kiara in some of their roles too, but I believe we are yet to see their best. Not to take anything away from Deepika's growth and achievements, but I am sure most people will agree that calling her the "'best' in India till now" is unfair to all of these phenomenal actresses - and I haven't even started with film industries other than Bollywood. I'm sure we will discover several amazingly good actresses there too. I know Indrani Haldar, Swastika Mukherjee, Suchitra Sen, Rituparna Sengupta, Raima Sen from the Bengali film industry are excellent actresses.

Nobody mentioned it in the comments yet so I will. Her skirt was embroidered with golden jewellery weighing about 30Kgs. She had to dance through all that weight making it difficult for her. She mentioned in turns that she did in the dance and had the weight of the gold kept her turning when she had to stop. It slapped her waist a few times. Her toes were blistered and yet she gave her best in this. So did everyone else.

In North, north-east, South, west India...every part of India has different dance form and cuisine as well. Our Indian culture, veg food is the best in the world in my pov.

1)u can call that thing on head as turban as there are not many words for men head gear but for us in different regions there are different words like sikhs wear a turban and we call it as pagdi and in the video he is wearing a phento so every region has diff words but in english every head gear is termed as turban only 2)The Dance is a folk dance of Gujarat named as Garba as it is offering to goddess Durga (ma durga) 3)deepika even had fever while performing this shoot of garba dance
