My wife and I were there several years ago, while much of the layouts were being constructed. We are going back this Veterans Day 11/16/13, and I am thrilled. They have done so much, I can't wait to see it, photograph it, and record the layouts! It makes you feel young again!
The most impressive G-Scale Model Railroad layout I've ever seen! I spent the entire day there and still wasn't able to see everything. It's worth the drive even if you're 1,000 miles away.
You can have construction for a year on the layout and expand the building where all the holiday areas can be and run trains thru them all year and add all the carton trains like thomas and chugington are you going to get mini part of the 80s 90s room and going to make remote control bridge I wonder the first 30 minets on the layout is switching or crew changes or 1 big train is on the layout with 1 new yorck centel then 2 Norfolk Southerns then 3 CSXs with mixed freight are you going to start to do trains goind out their normal train times to other times.
