My New Guinea Balsam with Orange flower with tail .. died today :( ... just dropped dead from the base stem from which it was grown. I am not sure what the reason was but the soil had become soggy due to rains for last 3-4 days in b'lore. Also I think the plant was shifted yesterday to a place where it got extra sunlight till 12:30 pm, else it was always in shade. The only regular sunlight in its regular place was after 4:30 pm. Just 3rd week from the nursery and its dead :( .. The plant just dropped dead, it was not standing this morning. It was all fine till yesterday night. I am not sure if I over watered it or I misted the plant frequently, due to which there was stem rot. I do remember I sprayed Neem oil with soap on this a couple of days back. But the issue was with the stem. The stem tissue was not firm. It was dark colored and soggy to touch. It might have cut the water supply cause the plant was wilted as well. Worst thing is I just forgot to make a video and upload it on RUclips :( .. Just took a couple of cuttings from the remaining plant and had to throw away the plant with an abundant of buds. Literally the plant with flowering so much and had a ton of buds and this happened .. damn!! May be I might have to get another one. Loved my orange flowers. Cheers
santosh r the same happened to me for my double impatiens. Thought it had some disease. Bought a new one and got sun burn on the leaves. So hard to take care of this kind of plant

sorry , by mistake , i was little wrong , isse hum annual bhi bol sakte hai aur perennial bhi , lekin hamare asian countries mein yeh poore saal flowering karta hai aur next season mein bhi continue hota hai, toh hamare liye yeh ek perennial plant hai.

RIGHT , AND THATS THE REASON I DONT USE COWDUNG , BECAUSE ITS DECOMPOSITION PROCESS REQUIRES SPACE AND IT GHATHERS DIRT AS WELL , SO I DIRECTLY PURCHASE VERMICOMPOST FROM NURSERY , I HAVE AROUND 80 PLANTS ON MY TERRACE AND AROUND 25 KG OF VERMICOMPOST IS USED IN 30 DAYS , AND IN THIS CONDITION I DECOMPOSE COW DUNG THEN IT REQUIRES LOT OF COW DUNG AND WILL SMEEL TOO , SO ITS BETTER TO BUY VERMICOMPOST FROM NURSERY

yes lekin summer season ke plants abhi winter mein mil rahe hai, agar mein summer mein dhund tha hoo tab yeh plants nahi milta , nursery wale ek season pehle hi next season ke plants sale karte hai , may be , kyu yeh mujhe nahi pata ,
sir balsam ke leaves baar baar jhuk jaate ha, pls koi tip de jisse woh sahi reh sake aur koi koi leaves bhi dry ho jaate hai, pls guide kare,
leaves jhuk ne ka main reason hai low watering , agar aap plant mein thik se watering nahi karte ho toh yeh problem aa sakti hai, leaves bhi iski wajah se hi dry hote hai, kyuki jaise moisture kum hoga toh fiber roots dry hona start kar dege , toh leaves bhi dhire se dry hona start kar dege , isiliye moisture maintain rakhe plant mein ,
agar plant soil zyada soft ho toh bhi yeh problem aa sakta hai, kyuki soft soil jaldi dry ho jati hai , toh soil bhi check kare , soil moisture ko maintain karne mein capable honi chahiye , toh soil check kare aur moisture level maintain rakhe .

Hi sir saw Ur video it was great and very useful... thanks for d tips...I have this plant and it was very healthy and use to give flowers but suddenly all leaves dried and white powered web like insects attached my plants...and now all the leaves have gone and it makes me very upset...can their b any luck by chance that I can save my same plant again to normal..pls suggest sir....
