We are almost at 100k subscribers, which is just amazing (and something I never dreamed I would reach). Thank you so much for supporting my channel😁. I will continue to work hard researching interesting and new questions to bring you the best quizzes I can.
For the bonus question on this one; Madonna's first hit song (entry on the US Billboard Hot 100) was 'Holiday'. 'Everybody', was her first release, but that failed to make the top 100, but did better on the Dance Clubs chart, so if you answered either of those, then take an extra point. 😁😁
Difficulty and pacing were spot on. Thanks!
Great to hear!
Best quiz/trivia on RUclips!!! Totally enjoy the questions & multiple guesses. My internet memory is sharper than my recall.
Enjoyed this. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yesssss.... 64/75 and proud of it !!
Me too.
Correct: 59. Thanks, that was a super one!!! :)
Didn't know, so didn't try to answer: 12.
1, Saffron.
3, Soccer.
13, The most islands. Sweden and Greece seemed plausible.
22, First Heinz product.
33, The fruit. Guessed bananas, but that was a weak guess.
39, 3 capital cities. Not China, but the other 2 could be.
42, Wall of China.
46, Most countries. Not Europe.
50, Park in Tanzania.
56, Mel Gibson's role.
66, The vanilla producer.
70, Coconut layers.
Guessed knowing the other two were wrong: 4. Not counting as answered:
15, The chinchilla's motherland.
27, What Alex VI divided.
30, Namib Dessert circles.
54, John Grisham's novel.
Fifty five correct answers!
69 correct answers. Olympic rings stand for continents. Bonus: the colors were selected because at least one of them is used in every countries' flag, so no one felt left out. That's what l read. Madonna song was "Like a virgin". I am 73 and English is not my native language. I think l did OK.
72/75 bonuses are q 14 five continent's, q 36 holiday. Brilliant quiz thanks again Ben I really enjoyed it 👍👍😁🏴
Great. Have an excellent weekend 😁
And you too Ben 👍
Hi from the Mile High City of Denver! ❤ these quizzes
Hi all the way to Denver. 👍😁 I love it when someone says hi from the other side of the world. 😀
Thanks Ben. Great Quiz. I missed 7. Thanks for all the Africa questions. We are cooking here 😋
😊🇿🇦
Wish we had your weather. Still waiting for spring to start here.
66 out of 75! Very enjoyable!
72/75
Missed eighteen. Don't live in those cities but have been to all of them. Nice quiz
I’m astonished that the Wall of China is that long! Thank you for an excellent quiz.
actually that question is a bit ambiguous. there are more than 1 great walls having been built at different times and they are in somewhat different places
67/75 with a few educated guesses 😂 Really great quiz, I look forward to these, always learn something new, without doubt one of the best quiz series on RUclips 👍🇬🇧
Excellent! Thanks for the compliment. I really appreciate it. Have a great weekend 😁
Bonus question, I'm not sure, which came first, but I remember hearing both Material Girl and Like a Virgin were her first big hits on the radio in the 80s. This was a very god quiz. I enjoyed it.👍
62 correct 83% correct from Canada definitely challenging
Hi Ben. Great quiz again. I got 66/75 today. A good mix of questions. Are you going to do any history quizzes anytime soon?
Possibly! I wrote one recently on ancient empires and civilizations, but wasn't happy with it, so didn't publish it. I will try something else history related again soon.
Seven wrong for me. Thank you, again!
Always enjoyable, 56/75, not bad 😊
95/100🎉😮
I want to say 57 out of 75, however I ran out of fingers and possibly only got 47 out of 75
Thanks Ben 🙏👍
64/75. Good mix of questions on a very wide variety of subjects.
57/75...so I passed, learned a thing or two as well, thanks Ben. Another grand quiz.
Excellent!
Yet another great quiz. I dropped 4. St I’ll not completely beaten you.
Got 50 out of 55 questions.. got very hungry, will be back after some hot spicy noodles.. 😋
67/75 Some were rather specific questions but thanks.
55/75 (~73%)
I'd have done better if I knew some English words. 😊
Madonna's first hit i wanna say was "Lucky Star" 64/75!
68/75 Good one.
46 out of 75. I'm impressed by this score since i failed another quiz about what we remember from high school. Lol , my 50 year reunion is this year ( 2024)
18 wrong 😅 great quiz. 😊
Thanks 😊
68/75, not bad especially since English is not my native language. I make and present pubquizzes but I love your quizzes, thanks a lot!
Great job!
67/75.. a few tricky ones in that collection. 5 rings are the continents of that time. Madonna material girl (guess) .. good work Ben.
54/75
61 correct. The Olympic rings represent the 5 continents, BUT we now seem to have 7 continents, so.....who knows
73/75
The 5 rings represent the 5 continents known at the time
Madonna's first single was Everybody
Favorite trivia question. Who was the first signer of the Declaration of Independence? And WHY was he the first.
59/75 blundered terribly here. The five circles R for the five continents so İ think they need to put more on now we've found some more. Think the 80's song is 'Like virgin', sorry, still on old key bord!! Good fun & merci.
There still are 5 inhabited continents in 2024.
Me too.☺️
@@DionysiosTau-North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia. That's 6.
@@jimmybones7394 🤦 Well, in that case, we should have a whole necklace of circles (Northern Europe, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, Central Europe, Southeastern Asia, Central Asia, Northern Africa, Southern Africa, ...). 🤦
@@DionysiosTau North America and South America are two continents. Northern Europe, Western Europe, Southern Europe, Eastern Europe, and central Europe are all part of one continent: Europe. Is anything I just said incorrect?
62 right not that bad, I learned something today
58/75. Good quiz
73/75 Hitting a golfball once is hardly the sport called golf.
62/75 I think the song by Madonna was like a Virgin.
Thank you, Ben! You deserve a Tiramisù.... and a pint ;) Great Quiz! Cheers.
I'll take the pint. Not so keen on tiramisu 👍😁
@@Quizzes4U haha! pasties from Cornwall?
56/75
For Q45, the Alamo is located IN, not near San Antonio. Visited it this past September.
64/75, so feelin' good! Thanks, Ben! Congratulations on getting to 106,000 subs! ♥♥♥
Yay! Thank you! New quiz out tonight. Should be a fun one for you.😁👍
@@Quizzes4U Looking forward to it! 😃
I just “passed” it and went on with my life
Thanks again Ben!
Love your quizzes ❤
61/75 not including bonuses.
Olympic rings are our continents. Madonna hmm maybe Like A Virgin but not 100% sure! X
66/75 fun quiz
72/75 - the rings represent the continents and I think Madonna's first hit was 'Everybody' - warmest thanks for a great mix of questions, Ben! 🙂
64/75.
61/75. Great quiz! Thanks.
Excellent
Four wrong. Not too bad!
63 ! well done girls
Catnip never relaxed my cat. She became a tweaker.😅
71 for me, bloody crocodiles! Thanks a lot!
70
73/75 with the options; 65/75 without.
Q14 bonus is the five continents; I'm terrible on Madonna's chronology but I will try 'Like a Prayer' for the Q36 bonus.
I did pretty good! I always like to learn, too. Thanks!
That's great!
64 Correct today. Thank for sharing your challenging content. The continents? Have a great weekend!👍😁
Excellent. You have a great weekend too. 😁👍
I just passed with 52! 😂😅
2\75 damn it was really hard
48 not yoo bad i guess
58-17 not counting bonus. That was a good one. You tossed some sticky wickets in near the end or I would have done better. Keep 'em coming. I love your quizzes.
Thanks 👍
Although it has strings, the lute is actually a percussion instrument, which is defined as being loudest when the note is struck and then immediately decays.
Thanks for commenting. Everything I've read and can find says they are stringed instruments. Here's great reference I found on them salamuzik.com/blogs/news/what-is-a-lute-everything-you-need-to-know-about-lute
90 out of 75😂
fun! derped a couple but got a 62/75
the continants ( 2 americas = 1) no antartica.
not bad - 10 wrong
#33 Actually, it's tomatoes, but yes, bananas are eaten much more as a fruit than tomatoes! #37 Only in the USA - if you ask for a "California roll" in Japan, they have no clue what you're talking about! #52 Nonsense! Hitting a golf ball twice is NOT "playing golf"! 73/75, interesting quiz!
60. Not as bad as sometimes 😆
It's Valentina Vladimirovna Tereshkova, not "Tereshkovova" (13:56). Even my spelling checker picks up the error. She is still a member of the Russian Duma at age 87.
It's a rotten Periodic Table you're displaying for Q55 (14:27). The second letter in an element's symbol is always lower case, so Sb, Pb, Te etc., not as shown.
Bloody hell, I got 10 wrong, I’m thikker than I thought !
We got 17 😂
15 wrong.
I got 67/75 correct, so I passed with flying colors. "Everybody" should know what Madonna's first hit was!
The rings stands for the 5 continents... And the colours representing all of the worlds flags... (either clean or mixed)... Madonna's first hit was "Holiday"... Got 72/75...
75 Inc the 2 bonus points. And first comment! We said the answers to the bonus questions in passing before you even asked the question
Awesome 💯
