-In this brand new Ari Rath series, I decided to take it to the next level. I am starting without a functioning ship. Ari has a Drake Cutter, however, this ship has no components & now weapons, so I must find a way of kitting out the ship without using it! Have I set an impossible challenge, let's find out!

Star Citizen is an open development, crowd funded project from Cloud Imperium. Consisting of 2 games, Squadron 42 a single player, story driven campaign putting you in the middle of the Vanduul attacks as an up and coming UEE Navy pilot, and Star Citizen, a highly detailed
first person MMO set within a persistent universe where there are no limits. This includes, space, and ground aspects, massive spaceships with full interiors and interactions, a full dynamic economy which reacts to the players actions allowing for anything you can imagine.
It is all being built on the StarEngine (a modified version of Amazon's Lumberyard Engine).
Please bare in mind that this is heavily WIP and in an alpha state in which much of the foundational tech to make it a reality is still being developed. Both games do not have set release dates yet but you can play the alpha build for the PU MMO which makes consistent progress
with quarterly patch releases throughout the year.
I am an independent content creator and a fan of the game, I am not paid by Cloud Imperium however I do accept ships from them to giveaway to my community but this will by no means influence my opinion or what I say and believe about the project.

Dude I absolutely love this gameplay. This makes starcitizen feel like It’s an actual game instead of a tech demo. Now I’m regretting investing 1k into a bunch of ships.
Shame, could play like a human but instead wanted to be a "coolest" one and have ships, shame on you Desenrad.
Night vision is one thing Elite Dangerous has that Star Citizen needs to implement.
There is a reshade-based poor man's night vision for SC
It's coming.. but honestly I can understand why it isn't a priority..

Definitely something I’ll be interested in once we have creatures to farm and missions that can be completed on foot around the city.

They really need to make soft death more likely, particularly with collisions and minor damage. Those Dragonflies seem to be fine for quite a while, then one little bump and BOOM.

I loved this idea so much I stripped down my own Cutter today and had a blast. I didn't go quite so hardcore, I left the power plant and cooler in but decided that I wanted to try to scavenge for the rest. I managed to find a wrecked cutter outside of an outpost and got my shield generator and QT drive. I'm hoping to find some size 2 guns soon as well. Stay safe out there!
We really need destructible objects in this game. no way a stupid space lamp post should blow you up in a video game.

You get to keep armor is you die in armistice, I guess security picks it up for ya.
The mule is by far a better veichle for doing this. Its cheap, it has internal atmosphere for the pilot. It has 6 1/4 scu box storage slots. (You can use some of those boxes you have been finding gear, just take em and place them on the Muel, to greatly extend your storage.) And if you play ot risky you can try to put a full 1 scu box on the undercarriage.

Great video well done. You should have gone back without your armor on then you could have gotten more. Looking forward to a proper mining expedition with a large backpack. You could make over a 100k.

hand mining is quite nice with handanite , i used to make 75k-80k a haul with a 120k bag :3
I am pretty sure aph is worth less than dol, but I am MUCH more interested in the fact that almost every box you opened had armor in it! I loot those places all the time for sub gear and RARELY find any.
Only in prison, apparently. Outside that, the Aphorite is worth more

With all the other videos he does, I feel like people have more tendancy to watch his other stuff, but he likes doing these too, but IF he could, I'd be just as happy. Hahaha =D
Maybe when you are ready to go buy ship parts you can contact another SC content creator and schedule the trip. That way you will have a better idea about who it is that is taking you on the trip. Also, I'm not so certain about the ability to transport ship components in a ship. I am quite curious about how that will be accomplished. Last time (3.17?) I tried to drag a ship part from local inventory into ship inventory I got a message saying that the part was too large for the ship's inventory. Pretty sure I tried it with my Cutlass Black.
You can fix the dragonfly with the repair tool.

Did you die in Armistice? That throws everything into local. I guess lorewise, the local hospital was able to recover your body. Maybe.

Inventory: How Are you able to transfer items around without dragging them around? Shift + Click ?
The Red Helmet Is one of those odd balls the "Teal" is worth something, 380?
You can shift click to transfer directly between inventory’s or double click to equip from an inventory on to your person

Go back to the rules in the first episode. The whole point is to earn money for components without renting a ship

Help me understand why you wouldn't wear the subscriber armor and sell the ones you're currently wearing. Also help me understand why you would leave gems when you know they're worth thousands. Aren't you trying to earn money?
Also aren't the multi tools worth a fair amount? No point in not filling your hold completely, if you have items to look

The gameplay mechanics pale in comparison to the visuals and sound design. Everyone is doing an excellent job except the part of the game that matters most. Its so clunky. The UI is terrible. Gunplay sucks and oh my god is the inner thought system bad. With current inner thought if your in the middle of a gunfight you have to clumisly fumbe through floating menus that move all around as you try to look at them. Just replace it with a button press menu! One of the options can be "detail" then you get the full inner thought. Gameplay fluidity seems like an afterthought.
