idk if I should buy more or less items made in pakistan (I think)... the workers ultimately won't see a single dime of my purchases, but the businesses selling the products won't even notice I stopped buying them... we need stronger labor laws globally.

Working conditions like in the dark ages. Ironically, a logo that pops up at 6:44 has a guy in an orange hard hat in it, whereas these poor wretches tamp oil sand with their bare hands and feet and wear what can only be described as "safety sandals" and "protection rags" while pouring molten metal. I hope every day that I am not complicit in these working conditions by accidentally buying stuff that has been made under such circumstances! Then again, I probably am because every single item of clothing made in a third world country will have been made with similar sewing machines.
