35:09 Yeah... I have the same reaction of revulsion to the presence of teenagers that Ivan Ooze has in the Power Rangers movie of, "Ugh, what is that odious stench?"
this was one of the biggest reasons to "trust" the initial defense Dr. Disrespect... Twitch wouldn't do something so amazingly stupid as to defend and cover up a massive tallent misbehaving with minors on their platform, it'd be amazingly bad optics and prolly very very costly.... apparently a lot of very wealthy/powerful people have no problem covering for creeps... who would have guessed? (spoilers: Everyone)
Often times whenever someone who was so popular (At least back in the day) gets outed as a terrible person, it's not just that individual who gets outed, but the groups or people who were secretly supporting and facilitating them the whole time. RUclips knowing why DrDisrespect got banned on Twitch is atrocious, they were perfectly fine with supporting a guy who knew he was messaging minors inappropriately, but RUclips is the site that demonetises people over literally nothing. It's not always 1 person who gets exposed, sometimes it's entire groups as well. Edit: Sneako defending Disrespect's actions with all his will is deplorable, it makes sense why he defended Cuties (Literal CP), I'm just waiting for Sneako to be exposed as one of these wastes of space.
This whole situation reminds me of the whole Ryan Haywood situation from the former roosterteeth subsidiary Lets Play. He was using his internet clout to actualy engage in these actions. I stopped following rooster teeth altogether because of it.
It almost looks like Doc deliberately committed career sepuku. He knew he could never tell what actually happened due to twich's NDA's and contracts. Because twitch totally buried their part in it. Twitch is never going to admit anything or allow the Doc to show receipts. He does look like the victim in the twitch lawsuit. Looks like they violated contract, but had enough leverage to force his silence while still paying what they owed him. And after four years with this hanging over his head... the tweet reads like he just decided to end his career and involvement in everything. Pull the plug and end it all.
Willy puts actual journalists to shame with his quality of research. The stark difference is embarrassing when you compare his vids on Tate & journalist interviews
Mainstream journos are a blight. They are all partisan hacks that lie and cheat. And I don't even mean just politically either. Remember the game journo who said Cuphead sucked because he failed at the tutorial level? Fuck modern mainstream journalism. If I want good information, I'll go to RUclips. At least the partisans on here wear that shit proudly so I know to take their BS with a grain of salt.
Sneako hurts my brain sometimes. My opinion only but, it's not Poke's fault its the internets fault for sexualizing her, she didn't want these things to happen to her, but, its the internet. (My opinion on whatever Sneako is trying to say at 36:00)
While I'm not a lawyer I think that if all he did was talk inappropriately (IDK like telling to a minor SMD or something) he would have released it already
Also boi seeing destiny pre “recent events” feels a bit like a tonal whiplash. Then again shouldn’t be surprised from a guy who ended in a clip with Aba dancing with his gf and guy seemed like mentally thinking on ending it all or disassociating.
I actually don't have any context behind Pokimane. It's kinda like me and Dr Disrespect before he outed himself via his own statement. I acknowledged that he existed, but didn't really care.
@@KipReacts So for context. I have Aspergers Syndrome and sometimes I draw connections where there aren't any because funny brain doing weird things, but you said in the video that you wanted evidence regarding Pokimane's audience and Sneako's claims and my initial thought was "Well Sneako's a fucking idiot, and I disagree with his argument, but Pokimane's an awful person for different reasons". So I wanted to comment that she was, in fact, not a good person. In hindsight I probably should've been more specific, that's my bad lol. If ever you're interested, Internet Anarchist has a video on it.
The worst part of all this that Twitch and RUclips didn't snipe him from orbit. A permaban is correct, but there should've been some clarity on why so other people know whether or not to engage with him. How many people brushed off the ban thinking it was something goofy, and now regret giving him opportunities?
It now opens up the question of how many of his business partners, affiliated organizations, and personal acquaintances knew he did it and didn't say anything? This is a huge black eye in a lot of ways to many companies and people.
I'm no rocket scientist, but my momma once told me that "Everyone is Innocent until proven Guilty". What makes not a lot of sense with the Slasher dude is although his heart is in the right place, the court of public opinion should have evidence to provide credibility. Idk who this Slasher guy is, and for all I know, he can be some sweaty, neckbeard, subreddit modder. What is his credibility for journalism? He heard second hand information from a second hand source. From my understanding, that is called a RUMOR, not a fact. I'm not saying whether Disrespect did or did not do the things that were said about it prior to his statement, because unless its a statement from him, the victim, or irrefutable evidence, he was innocent. After his statement, we only have his word to go off of. There is plenty of evidential history showing criminal cases where and innocent person was coerced into a false confession numerous times. I won't say whether he did or didn't but what I will say is theres no evidence against Disrespect minus his statement. He was never criminally charged, nor was their a civil litigation involving the accusation from what I am aware of. Until then, it is in my opinion Disrespect is only guilty of DMing a person who has been publically considered 17 and some messages were innappropriate, Thats it. No context on if it was sexual in nature, and no confirmation that the person was indeed 17 (again, as far as has been confirmed with evidence to prove it).
Also for some small context: Jeremy/The Quartering, the guy is one of those of the “Go woke go Broke” which I mean I kinda agree given how any game studio that hired Sweet Baby Inc has tanked in sales but they guy goes over board and has odd takes.
It's almost like triple a gameing it'self has issues and it's not a go woke go broke thing. Whenever something is mediocre or worse and has something ”woke” the go woke go broke croud makes it look as bad as possible
Ew I don't like that I'm kinda agreeing with Hassan... Legally speaking, there's no way Twitch could release the conversation in any way that makes sense. If they release the conversation, we're still just taking their word for it that it was with a minor. Just reading it, it could be anyone, it could be a fully adult Twitch employee for all we know. The only way for them to release the conversations, in any way that would actually serve as evidence, they'd have to dox the minor. And the fewer people who sees that, the better. Even just internally within the company and during the legal process, let alone releasing something like that to the public. That said, I don't think it's illegal for them to release it either, considering it happened on their platform. They also absolutely should have come out with a public statement immediately once it was proven, because Doc was still able to interact with his fans in other ways beyond his Twitch streams. Twitch wasn't protecting the victim or potential future victims, they were protecting themselves from legal trouble.
I don't get it. I had to think about it the past week and I came up with the logic that people who do streaming and are public figures feel lonely and want to have fun outside work, so that leads to avenues like partying and having others younger than you fawn at your accomplishments. Hanging around with that crowd could eventually invite people under a certain age, and you choose to pick and choose what is and isn't acceptable in the moment. I went a city over in the past week because I had to get away from my desk for a little bit and thought about going to a club. It's a university city, so I could've ended up in a bar or restaurant with people under 21 if I looked in the wrong place. Even then, it doesn't excuse the action.
Considering that both twitch and youtube must have known, and that Doc felt comfortable enough admitting to it, I'm assuming there really wasn't anything bad in the details, but the optics just look horrendous. I'm betting he was flirting with a fan, found out they were underage and stopped flirting, but continued to message them casually. That's what I would assume; not great, but not as bad as it could've been. We really can't trust the leaker with how inconsistent he's been, and I don't believe RUclips or Twitch wouldn't have done anything if there was anything actionable in the tweets.
The part I find weird is that we, as the internet, would've waited for evidence from DrDisrespect. So many people, including me, were calling BS and that this couldn't be real. The fact that he issued the statement he did saying what he did is mind-boggling to me. If it was truly inert, such as before knowing they were 17 flirting then stopping, why was it worded in the way that it was. I'm interested to see if anything else happens or more information surfaces.
I'm glad you don't cover politics much on this channel. I do get kinda bored with the Kamala stuff. Like she's so important when we all know she's literally a puppet of the DNC put in place so they can control the candidate because heaven forefend we have a democratic process in the party
35:09 Yeah... I have the same reaction of revulsion to the presence of teenagers that Ivan Ooze has in the Power Rangers movie of, "Ugh, what is that odious stench?"
I'm just impressed that there are others who remember that movie.
But I don't understand why it's so hard not to talk inappropriately with minors.

Willy is honestly the best. He doesn’t focus on right or left or anything like that. He looks at the facts and helps clear the air.
It’s always impressive how willing twitch is to torpedo themselves over and over again. They’ve outpaced RUclips, somehow
