It's not that I love visual art more than music, but rather that I have been coping with chronic illness for a long time and the rigors of playing music and hauling gear is getting to be unsustainable. But, having delayed my art for so many years due to a busy career in music and then raising my Son, I now feel free to collect my well earned Sr citizen pension, and do something that I love, and can manage physically. I hope you do well with your endeavors in the art field, both in your creative work and your teaching ( I consider that, that is what you are doing on this RUclips video/channel). I think you have a gift for teaching and sharing. Any form of the Arts tends to be a long and winding road. I have taught hundreds of students over the years. It can be quite rewarding. I am 68 yrs old, so I've done my duties, and now I look forward to creating artwork purely for self growth and personal happiness. Cheers!

@@mathewfines8727 for sure there are so many life experiences and depth you can put in your visual art! I’m looking forward to seeing your work! I’m kind of disappointed by how the majority of shows in London can’t touch me. Fine art is such a huge business these days that a lot of young artists can’t tell if they are making products to sell or they are creating. Some artists have noticed they are making art for money but they have no choice to rebel it. I hope you will have great fun in the visual art world. And thank you very much for your encouragement. I am still wondering what type of videos should I put on RUclips and your comments are very helpful! Cheers!

Thank you for uploading this video. Very inspirational! But how can someone reliably make money in art?

      @@AlphaBeta-vq6ks
honestly, I don’t think ‘reliably’ is the word when it comes to an artistic career. If artists could consistently make a steady income, it would probably be the most sought-after profession in the world because so many people dream of being an artist. The uncertainty of making a living as an artist is what holds many people back. However, that’s also part of the adventure.
In my experience, good artists are always in demand. So, I believe that if you have something genuine to express and commit to honing your craft, you’ll stand out. Think about freelance designers, if you are good in your style, there are always customers waiting for you…..
