    Me and my wife have been using this wonderful machine for the last 2 months and are extremely satisfied with it! I'm really impressed how Ninja is able to make an all in one system so functional and compact. The movable water container really helps when your low on countertop space.

    Tip for making the product better: replace the plastic milk frother with a milk steamer that pumps hot steam to produce steamed milk

    I just bought this machine and it's def. a big difference from my old kuerig machine. I have flavor and a frother that I def enjoy! My pods are even more flavorful and I love over ice! I love it!

    This is an awesome coffee maker! Extremely versatile, easy to use and keep clean. To get the most out of my Kauai Coffee I use the "rich" setting. I micro 1/2 cup of coconut almond milk and use the frother attachment to add that extra touch of deliciousness. Also, It doesn't take up a lot of room on the counter.

    Im in love with this coffee maker, had to get me one and then had to get one for my boyfriend cause he fell in love too. Now, I am thinking of getting my mom one for Christmas cause she also really likes it and these don't come cheap but they're worth every penny.

    You should make an extra adapters for dulce gusto and nesspresso Pods that are interchangeable like your kcup one.

    I wish it came with a refillable filter for coffee grounds. The filter bags are wasteful. And you can't use a refillable kcup this creates additional waste. I'm a little shocked Ninja didn't think of this when creating this machine. This is two of the reasons I haven't bought it yet. Thinking of waiting for an updated version to see if they include this. Also have read several reviews where it states the coffee isn't very hot. Love the digital screen and hot water features.

    Another design tip, and something I was hoping to see in this upgraded model was the ability to insert the smart scoop with the concave side (where the grounds touch) inwards so it always stays hidden and CLEAN, away from dust.

    I dont think my machine can recognize brewing through ground coffee or the keurig. I am using ground coffee and it only works in the pods mode. How can i fix this issue?

      Thank you for asking. The Ninja DualBrew is not compatible with reusable K-Cup filters. We recommend using the grounds' mode when brewing single serve sizes of ground coffee.

    this for everyone that’s buys a ninja or keuring coffee .. buy at costco they will return it and get another one and keep the box cause it will break down on you and keep returning back and get another .. it’s the only way .. enjoy your coffee

    Why is the brew temp of this almost 20 degrees lower than the ninja hot and cold? Was going to purchase by by reviews, this one doesn't get to the 195 to 205 brew temp recommended for coffee. In the reviews I saw, it gets to maybe 180.....

    Can you raise the temperature of how hot you want your Keurig brew to be? Or is it only 1 heat setting?

      Hey there! The Ninja CP301 unit has a water temp button. Press the WATER TEMP button to change the temp of your water, to brew hotter, or cooler coffee.

    We just purchased this coffee maker. We keep getting grounds in our cups when using K-Cups. We’ve tried different brands of the K-Cups but still getting grounds. Very disappointed in the machine.

    Here's my question: My husband likes to have a brewed pot of coffee, and I like to have just a single decaf pod in the morning. Is it possible for him to brew a carafe of coffee, then when I get up I could take out his ground coffee, put in the pod adapter and brew one pod, then put his carafe back on to keep it warm? Or by changing it to a pod does this automatically deactivate the warming carafe feature?

      That is a great question, Stephanie! If you decide to brew a single serve brew for the coffee maker it will turn off the keep warm function as the keep warm function is only made for the 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, or full carafe sizes for classic or rich brew. In this case we recommend you making your single serve pod first, and then switching over to grounds for a carafe that way to keep warm will stay on.

    Is it true that the keep warm function only activate when it’s at 28oz or above? My old cheap machine auto keep warm for 2 hours… I really want to like this machine but I just find that there are so many functions that are not logically available..

      Yes it's true. When you select 28 oz and above, you're brewing into the carafe, and it'll be for multiple servings. With this said, the keep warm will activate when you select the Classic or Rich brew, and it'll stay on for 2 hours by default, but can be changed to stay on for up to 4 hours. When brewing less than 28 oz, it's usually for a single serve drink, so the warming plate doesn't activate.

      That's normal, you are getting a high concentration coffee in your vessel and there is plenty of space to add the ice, frothy milk or any other flavorings to taste.

      Hi Ivana, we're sorry to hear about your Ninja. Be sure to clean your Ninja® Pod Adaptor and brew basket after each use. Grounds can cling to the needles and inside the basket, which can impact the quality of later brews. We recommend closing the drip stop before opening the pod adaptor lid and removing the pod to ensure no excess grounds fall in the cup.

    The manual states that reusable kcup will not work on this model, to use filter paper and ground coffee instead. So which filter paper should I use for a kcup?

    Cleaning the pod adapter is much more complicated than shown. Coffee grinds get in the needles, is it possible to disassemble the pod adapter to clean? what do you recommend to use, nylon brush ?

      Thank you for your interest in our Ninja DualBrew Pro Specialty Coffee System! When making a brew using coffee grinds, you will use a paper filer and add your grinds of choice. When you want to brew coffee using pods, using to removable pod adaptor, sliding the pod adapter handle into the locked position. Then lift the pod adapter handle to reveal the pod holder, so you can insert the pod.

    What does changing the brew style actually do? e.g. increasing the temp of the brew, etc?

      Greetings, Mr.Bross! Thank you for your great question. The temperature will stay the same for all temperatures. The Classic brew will give you a smooth, and well-balanced flavor. The Rich brew will brew a little less compared to classic, but it will have a more intense flavor that stands up to milk, cream, and other flavoring. The over ice brew will allow you to brew hot coffee over ice to make nice ice coffee without watering down the flavor. The specialty setting is a 4 oz brew with a super-rich concentrated flavor that will let you make cappuccinos, and lattes.

    Okay … so my mom enjoys making a pot of hot coffee to wake up to in the mornings. I enjoy making an iced coffee before work. I normally get up & leave before she’s even up. Is there any way that she could program the coffee machine the night before while I get up after that & brew an iced coffee after it’s been programmed? (Yes this is very specific, but our timing & clock in times are wayyyy different)

    Even though I am using ground coffee and inserting the Number 4 coffee filter, the “Smart Sensing Mode Indicator” keeps saying Pod. There is no way to override the Mode Indicator.

    I like it but don’t like that you have to microwave the milk for cappuccinos. If I’m spending over 200 I want the maker to do everything. I’ve had other coffeemakers that were cheaper and they made cappuccinos without microwaving.

    I bought it because on the box it states water is heated to optimal temperature and there is a graphic showing the optimum temperature between 195 and 205F. However if you are not brewing a full pot the temperature does not approach 195F. The smaller the brew the lower the temperature. Do not buy this if you are brewing specialty coffee or you will be wasting your time and your money. This is going back to the store.

      We're sorry to hear you are unhappy with your Ninja DualBrew Pro Specialty Coffee System, Joe! The water or coffee temperature may be slightly less depending on the temperature of the vessel the water is dispensed into.
      To ensure you get a hotter cup of coffee or water, please run hot water into the vessel prior to your brew. You can also heat milk in the microwave for about 30 seconds. If you are still experiencing an issue with temperature, please reach back out to us.

      @@NinjaKitchenUS When making a single serving the water dripping into the grounds is nowhere near 195F resulting in a flavorless cup of brew. I did notice that when making a full pot of coffee the drip starts off warm but eventually does achieve temperature. However, I bought this unit to make single servings of specialty coffee but the water does not get hot enough for proper extraction. Is this because the CFP 301 is an older model or did I get a defective unit? I have seen the review of the new and improved CFP 101 and that model does seem to be able to reach 195F brew temperature for a single serving. Please let me know if it would it be possible for Ninja to send me the newer model or should I just return my unit to Target?
