My theater is showing this next Friday, very excited, since I work there. I can't wait to meet the cast and I hope I can sneak in my grandfather, since he is a drag racer in Indy.
my daddy is in that movie he is macanic with a black wig on so i already saw the movie today an i know robin broidy all her family before she had a beautiful house thank you eliott for making this amazing movie and thank you for putting my dad juan in mayham and this movie snake and mongoose thank you so much
This is the first time I have heard of the movie. Sounds great! Hopefully, one day you guys will do one on Stone, Woods & Cook and Grumpy Jenkins and Sox & Martin.
@9:22 that's why @ 10yrs old I thought 'Don Prudhomme' was the coolest dude on the planet, that helmet design with the goggles & methanol mask = totally badass. The same can be said of Tommy McEwen too, badass looking drivers for badass looking cars, I must see this film :-)
Jungle Jim? ha, you guys just want to see Jungle Pam. yes, I was there how about the Chitown Hustler, Farkonas, Coil and Minnick. That Gave the rise of John Force as Austin Coil was his crew chief
Jungle was based in NJ, and was out on the match race touring circuit, mostly east coast and Midwest tracks. He really didn't run in the same circle as McEwen and Prudhomme, who did the NHRA national events and west coast tracks. BTW Pam has been approached by screenwriters and producers about making a movie, but Jim still has surviving family who are said to be against any biopic, mostly because of his post - Pam declining years and the manner of his death. Which apparently they don't want that (sad) chapter of the story to be part of a movie.
Someone thinking the same thing I am ... Yes I love the sport since I was 9yrs .. but they could’ve @ least put in some real time racing between the two cars instead of the footage they used from the 60s & 70s & why why did they chose Ian Ziering To play The late great Keith Black 🙏🤷♂️ he didn’t have blond hair or blue eyes the entire cast was off
I'm really glad you made the movie. It's my favorite movie right now. Good job.
This...is my childhood, and teen years growing up with the Snake & Mongoose. This will be a "must see" movie for me & my friends. Awesome!!!
This movie was really, really good. It came of the line slow, but finished huge strong!
Can't wait till the movie to come out. I was growing up watching all this take place it should bring back some memories.
I love that Alterd in the background!
this movie is so awesome! glad you made it

Best Racing Movie on a shoe string budget ever.
Nah, that would be "Funny Car Summer", about Jim Dunn and the Dunn & Reath funny car team. A film crew shot that movie for about 10K in 1973 or 74.

The best nhra cars there is
It was fun and a great story to tell, I just wish they had invested more in production to shoot actual racing passes.

Coolness..
Good movie. It’s low budget, but well done. If you aren’t a vintage drag racing fan, you probably won’t get it.
RIP Tom :(
I thought it was a very well done bio-pick : )
That was Where The F$&@? Is Jungle Jim.....
Was Tom McEwen a "rival" or was he a paid sparring partner...?
WTF is Jungle Jim!!
drag racer "jungle" Jim Lieberman
Carrie Heaton jungle Jim Lieberman was an iconic funny car racer, in the early years, a really fun spokesman
Worst movie ever.
