totally agree with the part about patience! art is a long journey and it's important to accept that you're going to make bad drawings once in a while, it doesn't mean you're a bad artist! i feel rather than punishment(?) or a chore, practice should be fun so i think it's also important to draw stuffs that you love/make you happy. thank you for the painting tips and for the great video!

I think your paintings and drawing skills are so amazing! This painting is very comfortable to see using harmonious colors. I really like a painting in this style the most. I respect you because I know your efforts until you can draw it like this. And I wish earnestly to draw something like that someday!
Have you thought of putting tiny cutout pieces of Velcro on the individual bottoms of the paint squares? That way they won’t easily come out when your dipping your brush.
