April 2024 is the Egypt season in Clash of Clans! Egypt Scenery, Egypt King, Egypt Queen, Egypt Warden, and Egypt Champion are all the cosmetics we're getting this month. This video breaks down my thoughts as well as the information and features you need to know!

Warden = Anubis
Queen = Horus
Champion = Cleopatra
King = Pharaoh
What I feel each of these skin set resembles:
BK - Ramesses II (was the first pharaoh to be depicted wielding the Egyptian sickle in battle). BK has a similar headgear that Ramses II wore.
AQ - Horus (The Falcon or Hawk is usually associated with the God Horus)
Warden - Skin seems a bit confusing. Although Goddess Isis, Osiris and his son Horus are associated with life and healing and also carried the Ankh in one hand. But skin also has a Anubis headgear. So a lot of Gods and Goddesses crammed into one.
RC - Goddess Wadjet (she is the snake Goddess/ Egyptian cobra goddess)

I would say the king is more like a soldier than the pharaoh
Queen = Isis
Really expected something different like a dessert with pyramids so idk I feel like they could have made the scenery way better
The scenery is very cool imo, love the direction they took
Instead of arid desert or lush forest i preferred them to fill up the spaces with farm lands(where they can sneak in even more banana stuff like banana trees), because that's what it would probably looked like at the height of Egyptian civilization, they cleverly developed irrigation systems to channel the floodwaters and ensured their crops have steady supply of water. This was what allowed them to thrive.
I mean I'm glad yall like it, personally I would've liked to see a different execution of this scenery since that theme really has a lot of potential. I do like the inner part and tiles of the scenery but for the outside I expected more of a golden dessert type look with pyramids
It would look way too bland with desert and pyramids. The river and vegetation contrasts well with the sand.
Always did enjoy my dessert with a good pyramid! :-)
I know a bit in Egyptian Mythology so here's what I know :
- Grand Warden is based of Anubis, a God over eanything related to post-mortem events like rites, graves and is even the one judging you with his scale. It kinda makes sense to make him a mummy knowing that
-- Barb King is a Pharaon (based of the fact that he has eyeliner and his outfit), and the beetle theme is because the scarab was a sign of rising sun, development and growth, which you can guess is everything you want for your kingdom
- Royal Champion is based on Cleopatra, from her aircut and the snake theme, which is based on the fact that she apparently died from a snake bite
- Queen is based of Horus, the God of the Sun, which has alsothe Moon into his left eye. I guess it's to refer that Horus was depicted as an hawk, and hawk + eye = good aim

One of my favourite sceneries, the skins are really great but the warden is just the best of the 4 .

I would argue that the Warden dosnt shoot a „beam of energy“ but its the snake with its 2 fangs that make up this double lined (venom?) beam!

The warden skin imo could be f2p players' shadow warden even though it's not giving the same amount of dark vibes and definitely not the value regarding animations but that is to be expected since it is a gold pass skin but still I think it gives above average value compared to other gold pass warden skins. One thing I noticed in the legendary skins that they lack value in terms of visual effects but they are top notch in terms of aesthetics especially the queen.

It's not.
Tentacles coming out of portal reminds me of tentacles which doctor strange of what if? series episode 4 used to summon. Or another episode of what if in which hydra tried to summon a order listening strong and giant creature. But that creature's tentacles come out and deal first with hydra soldiers and then rest.

Im buying the scenery, king, and queen. Already got the gold pass. I love this Egyptian theme for my TH11 base.
I do find the warden and AQ skin really clean and archer mainly as i do prefer a bow over a crossbow..

Its a pretty big miss that they failed to give the males that traditional pharoah beard cover(postiche), its a small detail but its frustratingly diminishing to the themes quality

Glad I didn't buy the last Space scenery and skins, felt like they didn't go well with CoC theme, but this skin scenery is TOP tier. It has the perfect mix of ancient and tech style, well suited for higher TH levels, specially 15.

I think this Egyptian scenery will look so fitting with the TH16 theme. I hope Supercell will give the cannons, archer towers, monolith, spell towers and clan castle their new level for TH16 so when i buy this neww scenery, its gonna look so good.

Seth, wouldn't it be amazing if they did a samurai/oni themed skins and scenery. I'd love the Japanese themed skins and especially the scenery with calm and soothing music with a backdrop of cherry blossoms if they do it right. Man.... I think the queen here is a kickass....the barbarian king is also absolute savage....holding a big khukri....he sure looks absolutely scary....the RC got a snake and her walking animation is funny,as if she is a royal family member😂, and the warden , is pretty basic, compared to all of these set ( only comparing to skins on this set )
If I ever make some cash, I will for sure buy the Egypt Queen/Lunar Rabbit Queen😂

Queen skin is more likely an Aztec or Mayan skin rather then Egypt.
