Mike, there are a lot on RUclips that profess to be some kind of legend and spout BS that they think is some kind of 'wisdom' that we should all listen to and I just turn off as I've heard all that crap before. I could sit and listen to you all day, everyday as you tell it how it is, you're so honest and humble and I hang on your every word as there is true, authentic knowledge to be learned from you. Thanks for a great video buddy and I hope you and mother are winding down for the holidays. Kurt
Mike that is a real story of your life! I just found your channel and I am liking your videos. you are truthful and a good man, keep up the videos. We can all learn from your life`s experiences! Thanks!
Keep the sawdust flying brother so very glad to hear a humble man talk about the life we live I would be no where in life if I wouldn't have gotten the lessons I've learned from y'all the older generation I'm not a smart man and I'm not rich but one thing I do have is the ability to listen and learn if I stop learning I'll just waist away y'all take car Brother be safe tell everyone tig says hello
Mike.....there's alot of wisdom in your words about greed....friend....a huge mistake that....well changed your financial future. Could've made more over the long haul...you owned that. My most profound respect for you....take care. ❤.
Man o man ive been up an been down running my mill its not easy mr man gotta think alot before action takes place lol .. Ive won some lost some.. the story's yu tell are real!!! I really enjoy it..😁
Absolutely wonderful video. Great story and a good lesson. Much respect to you and your family. Great video. I look forward to many more. Happy Holidays to you and the family.
True, Honest, and entertaining. sometimes the true life stories are the best. I respect you more with every video. I wish you and yours a Merry Christmas. Take care and keep the videos coming.
it takes a big man to admit his mistakes and your one of them, i've done some stupid thing before too and i learned a lesson from it sometimes you got to fall down (knock down in my case ) to see what you done wrong and they say you ain't lived till you've made a few mistakes and man i sure have done a lot of living if you know what i mean !!!!
My second time watching this video, and I liked it even more! The first time around it's a good video, but the second time it gives lots of color to the rest of the videos. Now I'm off to find the video on the Saw vs. Finger video...if it exists.
I enjoy every video you put on here. This one reminds me of a old boy I used to rent a house of when my wife and I were first married 17 years ago. He got the prostitute cancer ( his words not mine) and he was a dairy farmer. I asked him if he was going to retire and enjoy life. He told me hell no thatel kill me and he just turned 78 & has cut way back but he’s in the barn at 5 in the morning milking every day. So keep on keeping on life’s to short do what you enjoy and are good at and the hell with the rest.
thanks for making this video stevie and i both wanted it I can't imagine a sawmill as therapy but hey what ever works lol Merry Christmas Mike and family
Mike I don't know as you were greedy or that you made a bad decision. I think it's best said " You can't put an old head on young shoulders" seams fitting to this case in my mind . Wish I could have back 1/2 half the bad choices I've made . But at the time I thought they we all good .
I was thinking the same thing on the guy who buys my Angus cows He make alot of money when you think what it takes me to raise them he is trust worthy and a good person but that bites But you are correct he does his job we do ours . Good advice Ever get to Sothern Pa stop by Jackie and I show you the area
The broker...you know more, but it does seem a little like raw treatment. Put it this way, standing before the Lord, my best guess is that ole boy would be the one apologizing...seeing as how you already have owned your part.
I understand...but to be locked out or blackballed for more than the time it takes to learn the lesson ain't right in my book. He'd have had one of the best, most receptive sawyers the very minute you figured out your mistake. That's probably just my hang up. I understand your taking blame for a fault...that's a good quality and a sure sign of a good man. Most likely NOT one that needed much time to learn. Your point about the green-eyed monster is well taken too. I have people asking me to sell lumber, but what they'd like more is for me to give it to them. So, to avoid said monster, I cut enough to serve my needs plus a few friends that I don't mind giving it to for cost. If I ever go into business, I'll rrrack your video and watch it several times...so it'll soak in.
I like listening to your stories and videos!
Great video, as Lord Muck said I could listen to you all day every day, as you speak the truth!!

That deal was completely on me. The broker Kevin did nothing to apologies for
