    Mike, there are a lot on RUclips that profess to be some kind of legend and spout BS that they think is some kind of 'wisdom' that we should all listen to and I just turn off as I've heard all that crap before.
    I could sit and listen to you all day, everyday as you tell it how it is, you're so honest and humble and I hang on your every word as there is true, authentic knowledge to be learned from you.
    Thanks for a great video buddy and I hope you and mother are winding down for the holidays.
    Kurt

    My second time watching this video, and I liked it even more! The first time around it's a good video, but the second time it gives lots of color to the rest of the videos.
    Now I'm off to find the video on the Saw vs. Finger video...if it exists.

    I enjoy every video you put on here. This one reminds me of a old boy I used to rent a house of when my wife and I were first married 17 years ago. He got the prostitute cancer ( his words not mine) and he was a dairy farmer. I asked him if he was going to retire and enjoy life. He told me hell no thatel kill me and he just turned 78 & has cut way back but he’s in the barn at 5 in the morning milking every day. So keep on keeping on life’s to short do what you enjoy and are good at and the hell with the rest.

    Mike I don't know as you were greedy or that you made a bad decision. I think it's best said " You can't put an old head on young shoulders" seams fitting to this case in my mind . Wish I could have back 1/2 half the bad choices I've made . But at the time I thought they we all good .

    The broker...you know more, but it does seem a little like raw treatment. Put it this way, standing before the Lord, my best guess is that ole boy would be the one apologizing...seeing as how you already have owned your part.

    • @mmccoy577
      @mmccoy577  6 лет назад +1

      That deal was completely on me. The broker Kevin did nothing to apologies for

      I understand...but to be locked out or blackballed for more than the time it takes to learn the lesson ain't right in my book.
      He'd have had one of the best, most receptive sawyers the very minute you figured out your mistake.
      That's probably just my hang up. I understand your taking blame for a fault...that's a good quality and a sure sign of a good man. Most likely NOT one that needed much time to learn.
      Your point about the green-eyed monster is well taken too. I have people asking me to sell lumber, but what they'd like more is for me to give it to them. So, to avoid said monster, I cut enough to serve my needs plus a few friends that I don't mind giving it to for cost.
      If I ever go into business, I'll rrrack your video and watch it several times...so it'll soak in.
