      Not like I said women are more exciting to watch than men. It was an exciting game to watch, as a Canadian. Don't get your panties in a bunch pal.

      I disagree but that's because we shouldn't have won. The officiating of this game was garbage and literally cost the Americans the gold. I was not even proud of this win.

    • @aristotleyalung8033
      @aristotleyalung8033 6 лет назад +3

      you sounded more like an American posing as a Canadian. on the otherhand, the americans had there chances (a lot) but never converted, it wasn't meant to be. the americans are the better team in this regard, but they never won.

    • @Th3ch0s3n0n3s
      @Th3ch0s3n0n3s 6 лет назад

      I don't care what I sound like, I am Canadian. I was happy we won the 4th Olympic final straight, but I'm also a referee and I was absolutely ashamed at this ridiculous display.

    • @aristotleyalung8033
      @aristotleyalung8033 6 лет назад

      well, that's alright if you see some inconsistencies in the game, but that wasn't the reason why Team USA lost. as far as officiating is concerned, there are a lot much worse and obvious judging bias and hockey is not the worst of it.

    That game belonged to the US but they thought they had it in the bag with just over a minute left in the 3rd period. Never let your guard down when the gold medal is a stake, especially when you're playing against Canada. Hockey runs through their veins. They won't be beat so easily.

    It was a weekday afternoon. I was home as most of my classes that year were online anyway, and my dad was laid off temporarily by his long-time job. They usually did that with him every year around the Holidays for tax purposes, but for him not to be back by February was brutal. I remember watching the game with my dad, but with the game 2-0 late in the third, he gave up and went from a nap. I woke him up screaming when Canada scored their first goal, but he still stayed in his bed. By the time the game was tied though, he reluctantly got up and went to watch the overtime with me. And the smile on his face when MPP scored that OT goal was priceless: it's still one of my favorite moments with him ❤️

The US had the better team but Canada just hung in there long enough to get the breaks, and did. I'd be surprised if the US didn't get the gold in the next Olympics.

    I was watching this live during school. I was in physics class and feeling so disappointed because Canada was down by 2 so i turned it off when the 3rd periods started. Next thing I know we have the projector set up in the cafeteria during lunch and canada tied up the game and FREAKING WON!!!! Best moment of the Olympics for me. The whole school was watching and cheering. They even put on the anthem after the bell rang for class

    I watched this match and Canada made 1 error and American got it for 2-2. Canada number 4 is not good and they cannot give a good pass and they don't have a maker shoot out ! Don't cry, if you are not good in this match ! American knew and take this chance !

      Draco Draco well the ones that deserved to win didn’t like women’s hockey and Sean white messed up big time but that’s not the main reason. Other people were snubbed like yuna Kim who, almost everyone agrees deserved gold. And the doping for Russia was at an all time high too.

      Will Riley "uneducated" obviously. Luck is not a part of hockey. It takes skill to score, took skill for us to get the puck to the net on the first goal. More skill on the 2nd goal to tie it up in amidst the chaos and SKILL once again on the 4 on 3 to put the puck just below the arm and above the pads.

      +Finding Truth you need skill to win sometimes luck helps you out but honestly I don't think we have got "lucky" in the last 4 women's Olympic hockey but I'm sorry we just don't want silver
