100k for a noise canceling car is crazy
bro this car has essentially all the features of a fully specced out s class for half the price.
@@sanitygone-l9y Yeah the old S550 definitely not the new one or the 7 series..
So now they wont be able to hear emergency vehicles coming up behind them.
You do realize that all luxury vehicles have quiet cabins right?
@@kelkel8908 yeah thats a problem
@@dhcjduendncudjsbdcjdjsnjdj7340 I guess you've never ridden in a luxury vehicle. A quiet cabin cuts out road noise. It doesn't make you deaf... And your eyes still work...
@@kelkel8908 You dont know how many times I've been driving around in LA and an ambulance is speeding down the road but the lady in the luxury suv can hear it and is too unaware to look in her rear view. Also I highly doubt your cars are nicer than mine.
@@dhcjduendncudjsbdcjdjsnjdj7340 lol so now you drive a luxury vehicle. But you can hear. Hmm make it make sense.
i love when people shittalk Genesis. You with BMW could have these features for under $200K 💀
Genesis are absolutely beautiful cars! ...a friend bought 1 and I was shocked by how beautiful it was! ....they have come a long way
“Muh it’s just a Hyundai” is the only reason Genesis hasn’t completely smashed every other luxury division in the US market imo
That and they can’t make a transmission worth a damn.
That was such a cool bit with the headphones. I don’t think I ever seen that in a video.
Bro was so smooth with rizzing us up
Imagine paying $200,000 for a tata, but its a land rover
Bro is stuck in the 90s. Kore has had an ENORMOUS economic boom since then and they have made some marvelous things. Samsung has surpassed Apple and that's Korean. Korean media such as movies, series and music has become world famous. Korean cars have followed the same path, surpassing American ones in terms of quality and features. They're not "Just a Hyundai" any more.
@@pandamilkshake The technology is outdated in this car, the old S550 and my 7 series has this technology except for the automatic doors which is reserved for the Maybach and Rolls Royce(BMW owned). If they was so advance why did they need German engineers and technicians to come to Kia/Hyundai/Genesis to help revive the brand the Germans will never go look for Koreans to help revive them🤦🏾♂️
Calling a genesis a hyundai is like calling a lexus a toyota. They're distinctly different.
Lexus and Toyota share 90% of their parts.
@@LayzeeGiant Lexus was specifically created for the American market because they didn't trust that Toyota had luxury models. But saying they share parts is irrelevant. Especially when they have their own powertrains, drivetrains, and suspension that are specific to the maker.
i dont have ANC earphones but i always wonder how they worked, but this video came my dream TRUE
It takes in the sound waves via the mic on the outside, shifts the phase, and plays it back so that the noise from the outside and the “noise” from the inside cancel each other out. Kind of a shitty explanation without any physics jargon but that’s the gist.
they have mics which pick up the sounds coming in, then they create sound waves which are the opposite phase to cancel out the noise coming in
our gm drove rolls to bentleys and s-classes and for him to say a genesis is his 2nd option is mind boggling . the koreans are deff stepping up
Thank you for putting on Sounds of Nature! You are awesome!!
The angry commenter is just mad that other people can get nice cars for less money, while he pays $150,000 for a new Mercedes to make himself feel like he’s “better” 😂
Love a quiet cabin
Helps me fall asleep behind the wheel when I’m on a long drive
No lie, eye to eye still one of my favourite songs as a kid!
I’ve been impressed by every Genesis I’ve been in, can’t say the same for most of the legacy luxury brands.
Honda has this feature and I can tell you it’s garbage when those mics go out the car tries to put out the incorrect sound waves and it just sounds like loud booming 😂
If it depreciated more I’d 100% buy one of these they’re beautiful
Best interactive short I've ever seen in my car 😮
Amazing! Quiet cabin is very much needed for stress-free driving.
People don't understand brand value.
When he put the headphones on the camera microphone I felt that on my own ears
My ‘05 accord hybrid has that. It’s called ANC. Honda had a problem with it though where you’d hear a loud booming noise through the speakers due to a ground fault. It’s simple to correct, but Honda dealers would replace the head unit for $500 which wouldn’t solve anything.
People who call Genesis Hyundai's are just ignorant haters. Hyundai is the Parent Company. The Genesis Brand branched off to make beautiful quality luxury vehicles that are super stylish . I think the haters wish they could have one, but realize they cant afford it so they try to minimize what it is
That car is gorgeous
One thing that I don't like about really quiet cabins in cars is that I makes it harder to hear sirens from emergency vehicles and horns from other cars. As is these are not already loud enough
Tbh I was always sceptical about noise cancelling in cars. Like it makes me think that it worsens your awareness of the surrounding, which is really important in a car, as you could, for example miss ambulance approaching
This should be standard feature on every luxury car. Great job Genesis!
It’s also not a Hyundai. Genesis is its own brand. #ProudGenesisOwner 😅
wait the music sounding good even through a video is actually crazy
acoustic control 💀💀💀💀
Damn. Imagine finding that feature in a 2025 civic hybrid
Idk who’s hating on Genesis but I sat in that car at the LA Auto Show. It was literally the highlight of the show! It has so many features! You feel like you’re in a Bentley. None of the other luxury cars in its class did as much, but they were still priced higher.
My Infiniti Q60 has Bose noise cancelation and 16 speaker Bose system in it. I agree it makes a very nice ride that is less noisy. I have used Bose products for years and their noise cancelation is great
All fun and games until you can't hear an ambulance crossing an intersection
This is my realistic dream car. It’s such a beautiful vehicle inside and out. Real old money luxury vibe
Ford Mondeo MK5 have this from 2015 :)) the ANC mode, come in the package with Sony 12 speakers system.
Dude it’s beautiful. I’d buy this before anything else at that trim level
those are the sony WH-1000XM5 if anyone is wondering.
I wouldn’t have a problem paying this for a G90 had I not learned about preowned certification and the term depreciation. Still a beautiful car.
I’ve always wanted a higher end genesis sedan they look super sleek.
It is really nice. Remind me of the a7. I love the rear end
Imagine paying 400k for a ford 😂😂
The Ford GT:
lol bro even with headphones on, i can only imagine how much that slaps in person
I’ve always wanted a genesis theyre nice cars
hopefully you can still hear first responder vehicle sirens when driving before its too late
“Lively Forrest” is my favorite audio channel
Genesis Coupe from 2010-2016 most slept on best sounding JDM out there stock with 348 HP
@@autotech2736 Just get BMW 5 series with the 4.4TT engine and have 450hp/468pdstq and add ah tune and get close to 600hp.
