I may not be the biggest fan of her acting and her choices in film. But this interview made me realise why she is where she is. Coming in from England at a young age, with no knowledge of the local language or culture, she must have worked so hard to fit in and create a space for herself. And the fact that at this stage of her career, she is taking this kind of effort to improve in her job, is self aware to realise her weaknesses and work on it; that is almost a life lesson. Also, her break up with Ranbir Kapoor has only revealed how matured and level headed she is. I wouldn’t have watched a Katrina Kaif interview earlier but now I can sit through and listen to her speak for hours. She has a certain wisdom. I hope she finds a partner who can keep up with her. Also, don’t listen to that editor friend of yours. We love it when you discuss your musings.
