Thanks for another tree tutorial - made the spooky trees (used spray foam for the bases when I ran out of foam board). Will be attempting a Lego holiday display for some holiday houses we've been putting together and now can add some holiday trees. Now need to figure out how to make Santa's Lego sleigh suspend in the sky. Looking forward to more holiday display videos you create. Thanks for sharing.

Great video Carl I also use air hardened clay for the basis or the clay that you can put in the oven and bake for 15 minutes that works also very well. If you use baking clay you have to make a hole first, bake it , let them it cool and then hot glue the tree in. I personally go from Halloween I quickly dismantle that use the same platforms and I set up a Thanksgiving Village which is just fall and you know apple orchard, and some buildings that Department 56 has for Thanksgiving and then from there I go to Christmas once thanksgiving's over. Great job on the video.

Yeah, I agree. I also use air dry clay for the base of my trees. It gives them some weight.

I had hoped that your tutorial was going to be how to build a snow or ice covered tree from scratch like how to coat the limbs with the snow or ice.
