We have a flat hill in the back area that would be amazing for a fireplace and seating area. It’s even got a wall that would be great for projecting movies, with a Bluetooth speaker.
      Sigh… Maybe next year!

A projector and Bluetooth speaker are a great way to have entertainment outside, without the permanence of a TV.

I just hung up my wind chimes yesterday! 😁They were tucked away in storage for 24 years! 😬Long story…
We’re working on replacing the stairs, now. It’s quite a job!
I’m slowly getting the yard together. I’m fortunate enough to have a separate kitchen near the back patio area, so it’s right next to the door and fire pit.

It sounds lovely!! And wind chimes are so nice. Good luck on the stairs!

I’m dreaming about making a Williamsburg-style garden along a crushed stone path that leads to a garden shed in my vegetable garden. I’d like a circular spot that the path goes around that has either a birdbath or an urn in the center.
I love your ideas, designs and the samples you select! I love the idea of creating interest with the various heights and tiers for your landscape, garden and planters!
    Thank you Ashley!💝

Keep an eye on ivy! It’s invasive!
And please beware of wisteria. It’s poisonous.

I have a large 3+ acres of property. My goal is to create a fire pit with a circular gathering spot for family and friends. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so I want to create a Japanese moss garden with a Torri gate. For my raised bed vegetable garden, I want to create a Mediterranean garden with gravel and a grape arbor and a covered eating/ entertaining spot on one end (the cover is essential where I live because of the rain). Thanks so much for the inspiration-again (still taking lots of notes)!!!😊❤

I’m putting in a small, above ground pond in my back patio. You can buy them relatively cheap. Just be careful with children if you go that way. I’ve seen child friendly water features, too. Look them up if you’re interested.
