Thank you Dr. West for your great insights about contraception. My Gift of Faith testimony does point out to the fact I was living a promiscuous life due largely to contraception. My second son was born after my profound conversion from Medjugorje where Blessed Mother led me to the truth about marriage, sex and babies. May God continue to bless your ministry.

A question I get alot when I talk about this topic: what is so special about humans being male and female when the same is true for all animals?
Yes rats and mice reproduce too!
As long as you're not arguing for creationism at the same time, you could say that God guided the process of evolution in such a way, as to bring forth humans at some point. And since it was His plan from the beginning to have them be male and female, we see the male, female diad in the broader animal world, finally culminating in the sexual duality of humans.
The question seems like a very Darwinist/Materialist objection, since it treats the evolution of complex creatures as trivial. I would say that the existence of highly developed animals in itself is something very special and the emergence of intelligent life even more so. Both cry out for a deeper explanation in a similar manner to the fine tuning argument for Gods existence. It's kind of like asking what is so special about humans having brains, or lungs. If you're a complete materialist/darwinist then of course there is nothing special about how anything is, since it just is, but as long as you admit that evoultion could have taken a very different course, the question arises, as to why it did not.
Also if you take Christophers line from this video, that the creation as male and female expresses a pattern that is echoing the trinity, it would only be natural to see this expressed in the rest of creation as well, since all creation is supposed to express Gods greatness.

People can make their own decisions. This channel is just a way to offer a different decision.
I look at it like this: in a constant pursuit of pleasure, the world will eventually run dry of things that can grant us instant gratification. It’s subjects like this that look at how modern cultures mostly aren’t aware of a far greater good that we deny ourselves and each other, and that’s mainly why we’re so divided. You hear so many times that challenging perspectives are for living a truly beautiful life, like seeing homosexuality from a standpoint of pride and empowerment. However, what I take from Christopher’s videos and what the Church offers is a much higher challenge: living your life without pride or gratification is the main highway to true joy. This highway has speed limits, however. One of these is chastity: living a life practicing sex merely for the creation of a new, healthy generation, and men coexisting with and truly loving their natural companion, women. So you’re right, people are free to make their own decisions, as are you. But just please, trust that what I’m telling you comes from a loving and understanding heart, and the hope that my reply isn’t immediately discredited by my picture of an upside-down dolphin.
A society that permits contraception destroys itself. Any sane person that sees the truth is obligated to speak it.
an uneducated guess is immorality at its highest form - so go to an "authority" outside yourself which has been dealing with subject for 5000 years - and accepts its "Teaching Authority" - so your conscience can be rightly and fully formed - then you can make your own decision!
